THIS IS NOT A MUSIC VIDEO The Destruction of a Man is about the whole Dan killing Keith thing. This is my take on how everything should have gone down in "The Birth and Death of The Day".
in my opinion the saddest part was when Nathan found out that Dan did what everyone accused him of and it felt like the rug was pulled out from under him ,that part is sad not for Dan but for Nathan you could see the hurt in his eyes that is father really was gone
Yes. You can definitely see Nathan’s heart break and his whole aura change after he admitted to killing Keith. He did not wanna believe his father was like that
That’s because he finally saw his father come around as a better person which is why he believed he was innocent, and that meant a lot to Nathan. It was like for the first time ever he really got to know his father as the person he always hoped and expected him to be.
@@trinitylivingston1286 the scene. I don’t think it’s in this episode. I think it’s a later episode where Nathan says the Lucas I’m sorry I didn’t believe you and then Lucas says to Nathan. I’m sorry I was right that one kills me every time.
It was so heartbreaking when Nathan said this to Dan but he really truly deserved it because he shouldn’t had killed his brother at all: THE DAY KEITH DIED YOU DIED YOU UNDERSTAND ME MY SON WILL NEVER KNOW YOU, YOU STAY AWAY FROM MY FAMILY AND YOU STAY AWAY FROM ME
That scene with Nathan and his father was so heartbreaking. That was the minute Nathan lost all complete respect for his dad when he found that out and Lucas dislike for his father turned into complete hate.
It was heartbreaking, but it was definitely deserved after he killed his own brother who was both Nathan and Lucas’s uncle and pretty much Lucas’s dad too. And also because for the longest time Dan also made everyone think jimmy killed Keith.
I feel so sorry for Nathan. He wants to badly for Dan to just say it isn't true and his expression when Dan confirms it is true, it looks like someone kicked him in the stomach. He's shattered.
@@trinitylivingston1286 But Dan had been such an asshole for so long and Nathan was one of the few who believed he was trying to be a better person. After years of being disappointed, he had hope Dan would be a better man, a better father, he was ready to stand by him against everyone else. But Dan dropped the bomb it was true, and he was devastated. I am glad they did manage to somewhat redeem Dan by the end of the series.
One of the wonder in this world is casting chad michael murray and james lafferty in OTH. They are the best actor to play this drama and always will be. Sad that Chad only be main until season 6 :(
2:00 The day Keith died, you died. You understand me? My son will never know you. You stay away from my family, and you stay away from me! DAAAAANNNNG...
@@arlainastarks0503That is true but it doesn’t change the fact that he called Dan dad and deep down he’d always wanted to call him dad sadly. He wanted Dan in his life even after being treated like trash. That changed for him when he found out it was Dan that killed Keith.
I always thought that the storyline would end up with Dan switching ID on the babies because his birth son had heart problems and he wanted his official son to go on to basketball glory. It made sense to me because Deb was blonde and Nathan was dark haired, and Karen was dark haired, but had a blonde haired son. I know they were born three months apart, but I could see that happening if they looked a lot alike as infants.
Idk about that because I think Deb and him were staying in the college dorms during that time and away at college around the time both Karen and Deb were pregnant.
It never made full sense in the story, but cmm was cast first, and as Nathan with James supposed to be playing Lucas but James was already a very good basketball player so they swapped them, the only semi explanation they put in, was that Jamie looked way more like Lucas than Nathan so the blonde genetics still came from Dan, they just skipped him and Nathan
U can see the guilt and hurt in dang eyes when he knows he made a terrible mistake.. and when Dan dies dams ghost pours his heart out to keith and keith forgives him and they reunite as brothers in heaven
u should make more...maybe the whole brooke/victoria story line...or peyton/evil derick s/line...there are so many...great job with this one wish it would have had been a little bit longer.
@@Morgan-pt5wk she only slept with Chris Keller to even things out between her n Luke coz Luke cheated on her with Peyton. Luke was in love with Peyton from day1 so he never should've got into a relationship/exclusive with Brooke. Should've said "let's just be friends with benefits."
He cheated with a kiss he never actually fucked Peyton even though he wanted too! Brooke took it way too far she actually slept with another man physically. They both cheated on one another no matter who started between the two so they both have that over one another. And Lucas cheating don't take away he's a good guy either so why would you bring up him cheating on Brooke as a counter to her saying he is good guy? He is a good guy he's just flawed.
The writing at the end is all lies too. Everyone (Except Lucas and Karen) forgave Dan before he died and after he died he was Keith’s plus one in heaven.
“Lucas was tried but Deb pled guilty in his place” ahhh for what? “Nathan never visited his fathers grave and to this day never plans to” Dan died in the final season and Nathan was at his bedside when he died. We never saw footage of his grave, nor Nathan saying he would never visit it
I acknowledge Dan telling the Nathan the truth cause yes Dan did finally become a better person along the way but when Lucas found out, it was too late and he knew that it was time for him to be held accountable for his crime killing his brother. I don't blame Nathan for being angry cause he barely knew his uncle Keith as he wish he could've gotten to spend more time with him. I feel bad for Dan but at the same time I feel bad for Lucas.
Dan was a bad guy who later did 1 or 2 things good, but that doesnt make him a good guy, he is still the guy that ignores his one son, pushes the other to breakingpoint, kils his brother. Want to kinda steal keiths baby by getting closer to Karen. Turns the brothers against each other. Yes he was broken in the end because of the guilt he had for killing his brother.
I love this show watched all the seasons I actually watched it in reverse seasons 5-9 then 1-4 there actually two shows if you think about it. OTH 1-4 The Ravens OTH 5-9 Now and Forever The one thing I never saw was Dan as the Villain to me he was never the bad guy he was just misunderstood he just had a lot of demons and anger built up over the years from everything that happened to him with his parents, basketball and his affair. It only took one person to change Dan and make him a better person James Lucas Scott. This kid saw the good in him and Dan wanted to be a better person and it all became about redemption Jamie brought Dan back from the Darkness. That's why I say James Lucas Scott is the heart of Tree Hill.
So heartbreaking. I mean, Dan was an abusive piece of shit most of the time and it was one thing Dan killing his brother but blaming it on some troubled kid was a whole new level of low even for him. I know why he killed Keith and that he changes in the end for the better but still doesn't make you any less upset and mad at him.
I just can’t stand by that how can someone kill they own brother when I look at my brothers I be like damm I gotta be one heartless guy to actually try to kill my brother
What gets me is that ya Dan killed Keith but Deb is to blame as well and she never was shunned by others for it which made no sense (she's also guilty in this situation)
“If you declare with your mouth “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved” (Romans 10:9). Now is the time to accept Jesus as your personal Lord and Savior. Obey His commands and repent of your sins because Jesus is coming back soon. Tomorrow isn’t promised.
R u kidding??? Nathan comes off anything but gay. He’s the biggest jock on the show. You can usually tell when a guy’s gay or gonna be and Nathan’s definitely not one of em.
