I like him in Colors , his commentary on Leon getting killed by the cops while smashing is pure gold , as Damon put it he got caught pumping his fuel into rockets lady , pump so much lead and the boy turned him in to a pencil man
He is a comedic genius. I don't know how he doesn't laugh through the whole thing. I'm sure you already have, but find every single one of them and watch it. Unless they ever have a special all we have is what's out there! I would love to hear new Oswaldisms.
Oswald Bates is my all-time favorite In Living Color character, followed by Fire Marshall Bill. He talks just like my cousin that turned into RIGHTEOUS BROTHA SOULJA #1 during his bid, lol. You got nothing but time on your hands in jail - they pick up that thesaurus and go wild.
This was my father to a tee, and I was cackling at this, even at the young age of 10! Like Oswald, he’s been in and out of jail. Haven’t seen him in 34 years.

The only thing more funny than this character is actually meeting someone who was locked up and speaks just like this (a slightly tamer version, of course).
Lol I remember watching this with my husband back in the early 90s. I had to get the boys tucked in and close their doors so they didn't hear the profanity.
