What depends is your level of knowledge and perception, how you were grown up and taught to see the world, and again mostly influenced by society and taught the things society told you to get taught and how to think. It's never a good idea to throw at people the tenets of their own religion. After all, Muslims don't like to be on the receiving end of unfavourable quotes from the Qur'an, nor do Jews particularly like being told by 3rd parties what's in the Talmud. IMHO many Jews don't even like being told this by rabbis though, admittedly there's nearly always another authority to be found who will contradict it.
