Yeah what happened, lol! LX10 looked like pure money compared to the RX100. Ouch. Maybe I need to kick it up to active stabilization and give it a go! Great seeing you bro!

1.) Both cameras really need a gimbal 2.) The LX10 much cleaner image better color science highlights were blown a bit but thats because it has a faster lens closing it down a half or a full stop would take care of that. 3.) SONY probably has a slight edge in the AF but barely noticeable. Overall the LX10 is better and has much better glass.

Looking at your video I have just discovered how amazing the colors are on the LX10, the AF looks great as well!

LX10 seems to pulse more. But it was a lot brighter in the background, which may have been throwing it off.

Eric you need to hack the LX10 and turn on CineLike D it increases the dynamic range and seems to improve the AF as it’s a contrast based AF system

Eric Jennings Here is the video I used - you need to have the LX10 in creative movie mode not in photography mode and saved to a custom menu C1,2 or 3 and run the HTML script while in C1,2 or 3 where you have the movie mode saved - here is the link ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-aPBiDVsDt5g.html

As a side note in my testing CineLike V isn’t as good as natural - not sure of the reason but having CineLike D is fantastic especially as I have the G85 to match up the footage in post

I don't know. The LX10 looks at least just as good if not better, even with stabalization.

Hi there. Crop factor has no effect on aperture. It does however on focal length.

But it does effect how close or far a subject is away through the lens and that impacts how close or far away you have to stand therefore effecting the DOF
