This is a recipe for a traditional Parsi Akuri. Akuri means spicy scrambled eggs and is a popular dish in Parsi cuisine.

I love this recipe. Here's my personal twist to the recipe - in place of sambar masala I add leftover mutton gravy - about 2 table spoons, at times.

An easy Lipsmacking recipe .... love love love it ...definitely gonna try it soon ....have tried many recipes for Akuri but it always turned out like a bhurji..now I know why ... thank you for the little insights ...😘

Yeah so this is pretty much the way my mom makes it back home in BOM. But she also does add a little bit of raw mango to it as well. I've never liked raw mango so I tend to leave it out. But what's your view on adding raw mango to akuri?

The favorite breakfast of every Parsi Is the eeda-thi-bhareli, tamtamti akuri Each one’s is different But that is irrelevant And, by far the richest, is the Bharuch-ni!

Good recipe. one can add home made malai to the egg yolk and mix before pouring to the pan, gives it nice texture and tastes good ..

Just a suggestion. Instead of using cumin and coriander powder, use Dhansak Masala. Just a little and it will elevate your dish to different level. Strongly recommend. Please give it a try.

Instead of sprinkling with water, its better to sprinkling with fresh milk. I do that and it turns out smooth and creamy.

Black pepper powder will give it a kick...and while you add some water into onions and tomatoes try to mash them a bit

Receipe normally has quantity along with ingredients....all u have quantified is eight eggs!!@!@!!

Am guessing you're focusing on those that are already well versed with cooking, so you don't need to indicate quantities etc. But those are hardly the ones to visit channels as this one. There are others, on the other hand who haven't cooked at all, and have to fend for themselves particularly during times like the present. Like me. I do cook for myself but need direction with quantities, particularly with foods that I have never cooked before.

My mistake for not mentioning the GG paste. I like to add both. If you like you can do just the paste or just fresh ginger and garlic or both. I like the bite of garlic plus I think the pastes usually are only ginger and hardly any garlic hence I add the paste and freshly chopped garlic

Lots of people have their own style of making. Most don't add milk but yes some do. Try whichever recipe you like best and stick to that :)

It would be nice if Ms. Bamboat was more specific about her ingredients and the exact measurements. Right now its a hit or a miss with add a little bit of this and a little bit of that. As is, I would say its a waste of time.
