RIP to the greatest defensive fighter of all time. Just a short video, didn’t have a lot of Sweet Pea training footage to work with, hope you still enjoy.
I don't know how long you been a fan of boxing, but there was " I think the best defensive fighter ever " heavy weight too ! His name was Jimmy Young look him up, have a lot of heavy weights the blues
@@vavibab Much respect to Chavez one of the greatest to ever do it but yeah, he got beat that day. Glad you can look at it and be honest. I think he got given a gift in the Meldrick Taylor fight too with the stoppage but that's my take on that. None of that though, takes anything from Chavez. He was a legendary champion. The best out of Mexico and one the best ever bar none. Mucho gusto de su hermano negro.
Sweet Pete was a defensive phenomenon and also had tremendous footwork put together combinations pretty good as well one of the best fighters I’ve seen I’ve always said that ‘84 boxing olympic team was the best I’ve seen with him, Evander Holyfield, Meldrick Taylor just to name a few but anyway RIP Pernell “Sweet Pete” Whitaker.
Is there a possibility you could start naming the tracks you use? Whenever I hear these tracks as part of the training video, I associate the tracks with training whenever I hear them next time, so it’d be cool to be able to listen to the tracks
I just like this beat that's playing on this youtube video it's straight hard and I remember choosing Pernell Whitaker on a game name knockout kings 2000 on nintendo 64 and I think still got the game.
