I just bought a Pioneer SC-1522-K AV Receiver off of eBay and it was working for a few hours other than I couldn’t figure out how to correctly set it up. I factory reset it and within a few hours it started blinking and saying UE22 and I don’t know what’s going on. I know absolutely nothing about home stereo equipment but I am addicted to buying speakers and other equipment now but I’m asking if you know anything about this error code flashing and if I can get it to work again I realized today how dumb I am because I couldn’t figure out how to set it up like you did on here

hey mate, nice video, i been using this receiver over 4 years, n was working fine, just wanted to fine tune to get most and i came across your video, i changed all settings as per your video, but now i could only hear very hard bass sounds from my woofer, the softer and low bass sound has gone, its not as soothing sound as it used to be. I have 3 knobs on my woofer, volume, Xover and Phase, would you know what best to set on those 3 knobs? as Xover set in receiver is 80, what shud b the knob on sub woofer itself? or should i try any other settings in receiver? your response will be appreciated, thanks, fyi, I have Large Front, small centre, small surrounds and active sub

Hello, I have a vsx 422 receiver and i switched tvs, everything working as usual but when I used to have the other tv, once I turned on the tv it automatically turned on the receiver but now I have to manually turn on the receiver with each controller, is there a solution to turn on the receiver automatically once i turn the tv on ?

Hi, I have same or similar Receiver. I followed the same steps you mentioned but not successful. I am trying to connect my Sony Bravia 55x80J model HDMI ARC Port to DVD / Game of the receiver and when I made HDMI->ARC - ON - then it is stopping audio from TV but it is not working in the Receiver. I thought cable problem, but even with the Digital / Fibre Optic Cable also, I am not able to make it work. It is same for all. Is anything I am missing. Please guide me.

Thanks for the detailed explanation. Pl explain how to enable Dts HD on VSX 524. My receiver is connected to MI TV HDMI ARC port and receiver operated source is TV and it is working perfect. The following RU-vid (5.1 test, clips and Trailers) channel videos are not supported by receiver. Any solution for this?

I bought an even older Pioneer SC-LX 57 (from 2013), and can't get the signal from the AVR to my TV, which is not a smart tv. I put the high speed HDMI cable from Output 1 to any of the HDMI inputs on the TV, but can't get a connection. I wonder what I have to do to get a signal? Settings in the AVR? Which do I change?

My audio auto switches basic on the media that’s playing. I set it to Dolby pl2 music but when a movie starts playing it switches to Dolby digital. Is this suppose to happen?

Hello, my rear back/surround speakers stopped working. When I run the "test tone", they work fine but somehow I have disconnected them internally. They don't work on "cinema" or the "music" setting. (I have two front speakers, one subwoofer, one center, two back speakers and two rear. Everything works fine until recently. Please help!

When i got mine my sub didn't come with a way to connect it . Any suggestions on that it was just two wire like for a regular speaker.

You skipped over mono sound setting. Both channels should be on. You did have it set correctly.

how and what should be the setting if i wan't all the speakers working, bcoz upon testing 5.1, the sound of the sorround speakers only comes out on the front speakers, but all speakers are working if i test it individually, pls help
