Here is a massive, in depth playthrough of my Planet Tone signature "Statera" pickups, through several of my favorite tube amps.
Yes, I pretty much just improvise all this as I go so you get the mistakes and all!

I put these pickups in my Ibanez as73. Now, I firmly believe I have the best sounding hollow body guitar in the world!!!

Had them make me a 3 pickup set of these for an SG Custom build months ago. Still not got to it. Had not thought of splitting the coils!! But after hearing this I gotta get to it!

Great demo! I’ve seen all your other vids with your signature pups, but this was by far the most you really showed their versatility. Alnico IV is my favorite magnet-humbucker, and these sound superb. Even like the split coil tones. As always thanks for the great playing. I have been checking daily for your next vid and you did not disappoint.

@@LucasFowler thank you for being so specific. I have always had at least 2 single coils in my guitars because I don't enjoy humbuckers for it. You all knocked it out of the park.

I didn't care about the tone demo of the pick-ups, I just enjoyed listening to your playing. And it's pretty hard to get me hooked for an Instrumental for over 22 minutes. I'm not at all a fan of long guitar solos, but this was some fine playing!

Welcome back Lucas. Would you recommend these pickups for worship / gospel music or would another pickup be another option. Cause I'm looking at a certain set of pickups and I was wondering if you could demo it

I have very little experience playing worship/gospel type music but I will say that these are very clear, crisp and friendly on clean sounds without ever being harsh. Something like the Planet Tone H-Bomb might also be a good choice. I will have a set of the Sheminith pickups to demo soon as well, which I think are kind of intended for P&W stuff.
