Thank you so much for this!! 20 weeks into my third pregnancy with diastasis recti and even after doing these exercises only a couple times my back pain has decreased tremendously. I do the “Saran Wrap” exercise through the day or even while I’m on a walk and I’m already so much stronger, able to walk longer before I start waddling 😅 just what I needed!!
From everything I’ve read, and from every doctor I’ve talked to, they’ve all advised NOT to do ANY ab exercises while pregnant. Is this safe to do? (Also- please note that it’s not my intention to be rude in any way- I’m just genuinely curious!) Thank you!
So I would never do regular planks, crunches or anything specific to core, this is more breathing than a sweaty core workout! So I do agree with your doctor but These are more rehab/pre-Hab exercises, more like physical therapy if that makes sense
@@LovelyDecrie Just out of curiosity, did you watch the full video with sound on before commenting? I'd be curious to see any articles refute any of the exercises in 1st or 2nd trimester, and most in 3rd. I talk about coning and if a client notices or has a DR they should skip the moves but fitness is a science and we're constantly learning so please share the articles that recommend against this time of belly breathing as I'd love to learn more!
@@SarahsFabChannel I’ll be entirely honest, as it was absolutely my mistake. When I saw ‘Ab exercises’ directly in the thumbnail along with ‘during pregnancy,’ my mind immediately went to what I’d heard prior. I’ll absolutely be sure to watch the next video I see before commenting, and please forgive me for not doing so. And thank you again for the explanation, and not verbally slapping me for not reading into it more! 😅❤️
@@LovelyDecrie You're totally fine! A lot of the prenatal advice I had been given with my first 5 years ago was totally wrong! I was doing planks at 32 weeks pregnant and I would never ever do that again lol! There are a lot of influencers giving advice for prenatal fitness who have no idea what they are doing and I really try to make sure what I put out now is up to date and safe! I appreciate you xoxo
