Yeah, man, I had to chill on caffeine. I got to a point where I was just getting splitting headaches if I did not have any in the morning. So that’s why now I just keep it vigilant when I consume it.

I dropped pre-workout too. It started to make my guts too upset pre training. I find that loading up on carbs and water makes me lift harder than almost any pre-workout I've used. Thanks for the video coach!

@@Jafmanz Yeah your problem is definitely related to your lack of basic comprehension. OP clearly explained that pre-workout tends to cause gut issues which is a common problem but I'm sure you're too dense to even realise it. People like you generally love the smell of your own farts.

Great video. I stopped the PW a few months ago and my training is much more focused. I took a scoop last week before an upper body day, went off program and added a few more exercises because I had all this energy to burn that I wasn't used to. Ended up going too hard and had to take an extra rest day. Only caffeine I usually consume is from green tea and it doesn't affect my sleep or stress at all.

Awesome that your gym allows the stroller! We need more of that. One of my guys got into with the gym because they asked him to leave because he brought the stroller in. He’s a marine, too!

Preworkout never did much for me. I would do citrulline and beta alanine and even quit that. Greatest pre workout is 8 hours of sleep, lots of water and a good meal before.

Thanks Alberto for sharing this! I’ve been struggling with over caffeinating. It’s a struggle as a parent of 4 y/o and a 1 y/o having the energy. I was thinking about cutting out preworkout or reducing my caffeine recently. Sometimes it just makes me feel anxious and just doesn’t fix the problem of poor sleep. Plus some of the pre workouts make me feel spacey and my heart race

Great video and great points It’s not uncommon out to see my typical TikTok gym bro slam a pre-workout with 450 mg of caffeine and then go do like abs and arms I almost wonder if the pre-workout circa 10 to 15 years ago that had some of those like designer types, stimulants or less damaging to the body and central nervous system than 500 mg of caffeine multiple times a week in one shot

If someone works all day and grinding that pre does wonders. I see too many saying something don’t work but many don’t work like some who need it. Plus it’s many companies now that have good pre without 5 cups of coffee dosed in it.

My morning coffee ends up being my pre-workout and I realized a few months ago that has to be 1. my only caffeine for the day and 2. it has to be the same amount. I had gotten to the point where I was like “ok only caffeinated coffee before working out” but then it slowly increased to coffee at home then an extra double shot at the bodega across from the gym 😅🤦🏾. Also - cute baby alert 🥹🙏🏾

I always see people who do flys going straight out, maximum flare. Of course they get to about parallel & that's it. Looks like you're getting a lot more stretch by opting for that 45 degree angle

So if you are talking about hydration... you're taking 7grams of sodium, 4g of potassium, 500mg of Magnesium and 1000g of calcium? Or just plain water? There is a guy. He had a nice interview on TCN. Name is Jeffrey Sachs. He starts the interview with: " I drink coffee all day all the time. Non stop. Also a few minutes before bed. " 🤷‍♂️ He is rather smart and successful and shiiiieeeeht.😅 Seems voltaire was drinking 30- 40 coffees per day btw.
