Qigong (chi kung) is an energy and intention-based practice that works with the principles of xing ming shuang xiu, meaning ‘the body and spirt are equally cultivated and refined’. Qi means ‘life force’ and gong means ‘to cultivate or build’. Thus qigong is the cultivation of life energy. While sometimes our qi can be healthy, balanced and flowing, when we are stressed, tense, or unwell, it can become stuck, stagnant, deficient or excessive. Regular practice of the sequences in this element-based qigong series can help maintain or rebalance the flow of energy in your body, supporting its innate ability to abide in a more balanced, healthy, natural state.

I was never drawn to look up Qigong even though I was introduced to Tai Chi 20+ yrs ago and then stopped the practice. It is only when I came across your little introduction/demonstration of this in the Commune platform on FB that I was highly impressed by its energy movements. Thank you, Mimi, for making all this available here💝

I love this Warm Up For Meridians. It is perfectly suited for me and my body. I hadn't realized that my neck was quite stiff until I started doing this qigong basic warm ups. And I definitely need it too for circulating my hips and everything else that you do here and explain. Thank you, Mimi🙏

Love this. Love your authenticity, Mimi. You bring awareness to the qi gong movements so necessary for a deep authentic practice. It would be better if there were no ads in the middle of the practice. They are jarring and break the flow.

Thank you for sharing this set of moves, Mimi. Love them immensely. I am wondering what inspired you to present a number of classes in this very relaxed style of qigong.?To me they seem unique and I want to keep practicing just those. Did you have a particular reason to introduce this style, after having taught for years? ❤😮😊

Hahaha ... too bad for you! This Warm Up for Meridians video is my favourite giving me what I need, loosens my muscles and strengthens them at the same time. You don't need this, so just move on to something else.
