Finally someone who wasn’t afraid to take a reaction to this song! I love Freddie's powerful falsetto, it's so extraordinary and you are right the musical accompaniment is perfect, so restrained, it just underlines his singing. You Take My Breath Away at Hyde Park 76. will take your breath away.

This one was written by Freddie and John. All Freddie vocals - All the instruments played by John,with the exception of electric piano by Freddie. There had been another version with David Bowie providing backing vocals - but according to Freddie, Bowie was dissatisfied with that version and asked them not to use it - so the Freddie/John only version was what made it onto the album.

This one gets me every time, it's right up there with my three top Queen songs and ridiculously underated. Neither Brian or Roger wanted anything do do with it, so what we have is Freddie on vocals and I think piano whilst John takes care of everything else. An absolutely fabulous track, a huge thanks for the play.

One of my favourite songs. Freddie's voice gets me emotional every time. Just the fact that there was nothing he couldn't sing in any genre. Such an amazing human, so inspirational, no one can touch this man. A true legend. Love him and the band. Love this reaction.

Great reaction! amazing falsetto. Try "Soul Brother" - The story behind it is that Brian was so upset with the Hot space album that he was feeling like he may not have a place in Queen anymore so Freddie wrote a song for him, drawing on the titles of many Queen hits.

This is sooooo cool. I just love Hot Space, it's such a funky album, so good. It's different from the other Queen albums? Yeah, so what? It's excellent. Let's enjoy it!!! And how not to be mesmerized with all those Freddie falsettos? Come on, if people don't get into the vibe and appreciate them, they're probably dead or on their way to becoming. Super congrats on doing this reaction and enjoying this song. Well done 🙌🙌🙌

There's typically an official lyric video for those songs without videos/live performances. Do check out Soul Brother (lyric) and Back Chat (video is such fun -the love btwn John and Freddie is front and center). And Freddie dancing with everything he's got, even a track suit. Appreciate all the of this choice this group brought to their catalogue.

I've always considered this song, dragon attack and it's a hard life to be Queen's most underrated songs by the way, as a curiosity you should check out the demo version done with David Bowie which was actually supposed to be the version on the album however Bowie not satisfied with it and asked that it be removed at the last minute, thereby delaying the release of the album, what's many fans considered disappointing at the time. According to Peter Freestone (former personal assistant) Freddie used to listen to Quincy Jones' album The Dude a lot during this era and also thought Prince was incredibly talented. In my opinion those are two quite possible influences for his approach to the song. By the way, there's no chance that you're hearing John on this track as voice doesn't appear on any of the queen albums, let alone this song, although he was a co-writer

Great reaction! :-) A song with a similar vibe would be "My Baby Does Me", but sang by Freddie with his dark raspy voice. A song with a similar falsetto by Freddie, that actually sounds more like a Wham!/ George Micheal song is "Pain Is So Close To Pleasure". 😀😀

I love this song! It has that smooth "Sound of Philidelphia" vibe - which I guess is why it brings to mind Jean Carne's "Don't let it go to your head" (which I also love).

This song has found a new popularity because of the Amazon commercial and Roger Taylor said they are talking about adding it to their set when they tour the US in the fall. Adam Lambert who has been the from man for over 10 years has the voice to sing this live.

Check out In The Lap Of The Gods, Another One Bites The Dust, Spread Your Wings, and Freddie’s In My Defense…all incredible songs. Queen is like no other because all 4 members wrote hit songs and Freddie was incredible and could sing them all with hypnotic emotion. Thanks!❤

The Hot Space album was a big influence on Michael Jackson, who was in the process of recording his Thriller album, which would be released about six months later. You can definitely hear that influence on the opening track “Staying Power” , “Dancer”, “Back Chat” (which sounds almost like an outtake from Chic), and on “Cool Cat”…

Ohh this is so 🔥🔥 and funky, he so sexy when he singing “I knew that“ with law voice in the begining of the song.....omg his vibrato voice......fabelous! Here is only Freddie and John, John playd all the instrument. He dident sing. Freddie could sing what ever it was himself. I recomend The Prophet song to you, Freddie sing all the voices alone. Its Brian,s Masterpiece, you must take the lyric exsample, very special lyric too. I forgot to tell you, Brian and Roger had interesting of this song 🧐 very strange.....love your react 🌟

for someone who was reluctant, maybe not a fan of this tune, Brian May really sold that guitar riff really smoove.... man, without those funky licks from him, this track just won't be complete. Queen IS the s**t... one of the best.

Hot Space is Great. Ive just gone through all albums and rated each songs which gives an album average. This came #8th. Steady album. And it has Under Pressure which is my #3 favourite song of them ever. Cool Cat and Back Chat is my two other favs from this album.
