Last story was literally just "Here man let me help ya with that and uh...okay wait...uh...okay i guess this is happening......this is my life now..."

I once had a similar experience in a clothing store, lady came up to and asked where something was and to complain that some clothes were just laying on the floor somewhere... I told her "sorry, I don't work here" - and do you know what she *did* ?... Apologised and found a staff member... Cos not everyone is a nutcase - keep hope alive!

What student, playing hookie and HAVING THEIR OWN TRANSPORTATION, would want to hang around RIGHT OUTSIDE of the school? That just defies logic.

If someone grabs your arm like that and tries to pull you someplace else like described in the situation at 9:40, CALL THE POLICE. This is assault and attempted kidnapping, also verbal harassment for this situation. People who assault others have a super high tendency to become murderers so always call the police and have them charged. Those are people that you absolutely do not want just walking down the street, especially not around kids as kids are extremely easy to cause harm to.

I had the school thing happen to me. I graduated a year before my little sister. I was nice one day and offered to pick her up from school. I was waiting for her to come out when the Principal asked me why I wasn't in class. I was really confused and said I am waiting for my sister to get out. He said you should be in class and asked me to come inside. Well, I followed laughing because I was dude I graduated with your daughter last year. Mind you my school was only 600 students and he knew me by name. The Vice-Principal and office staff were really confused when he said I was skipping class. The VP looks at me and says's hows college-going? I answered great just here to pick up the little sister. The Principal gets red and walks into his office while the VP, Office staff and myself started laughing.

It's like these Karen's have a tick list 1) don't lie to me 2) I'll get you fired 3) do you know who I am 4) how dare you speak to me like that 5) I want the manager 6) your (non) employee was SO rude 7) give me something for free I'd LOVE to run into one, I'd have a great time taking the piss LOL

I work in a customer service environment, and these stories make me wish that we are legally allowed to fight one awkward customer a month.

I felt the 1 about the school security guard. I'm 21 but I could pass as 12. I'm barely over 5 feet tall, a bit on the pudgy side, & have a baby face. Alot of people dont take me seriously cause they think I'm a teenager or even a kid. Once I had an uber driver almost refuse to give me a ride. As I was getting in the car, after I made absolutely sure that he was my driver & it was the correct car, the first thing he says is "How OLD are you??" Me being a lady, upon hearing some guy ask me my age, i immediately got pissed. I just gave him a death glare that would burn a whole through the sun, & yelled "EXCUSE YOU??" He started stuttering, trying to ask somewhat more politely if I was a kid. I just kept up the death glare as he looked at me, then at my uber profile pic, then back to me. He just muttered "oh.... i see" & started driving. I wasn't trying to scare the poor guy. I'm just so tired of everyone thinking I'm a kid, so whenever it happens, I do lose my temper a bit. Even some of my friends forget how old I am, even tho I'm older than some of them.

The Truant Officer story just gave me flashbacks to back when I was in highschool. I swear, some people get some sort of power they can use over others and it just goes to their heads. For a small bit of context, my Highschool is about a block or two away from the JR HighSchool and only the Highschool has 'Off Campus Lunch'. So when lunch time rolls around there's a bunch of Truant Officers that patrol the area since a lot of JR High students sneak out and try to blend in with the group of highschoolers to go to the nearby fastfood places. Now, I rarely ever left campus to get lunch but every time I did, like clockwork, I would get stopped by a Truant Officer every time on both trips. Going to McDonalds and coming back. I'm only 4'10 and I have a very young looking face so I guess it makes sense to mistake me for someone younger, but here's where the issue comes in. Most of the time, they dont even ask for an ID, just berate me for 'ditching school' and demanding me to go back. I always have my ID on me and when I show it to them, they get REAL snippy and rude with me, like I had just backhanded and spat at them. However, there was one time where a guy just flat out didnt believe me and said that my ID card was a fake, both my student ID and my State ID. Then he just grabbed me by the arm and started to drag me all the way to the JR High. So we make it to the office of my old JR High and I greet the staff there. The Principal gets called over and well, she was just very confused. Had to explain to the guy that he, was in fact, wrong and that he more or less just kidnapped me. I was let go and I scurried back to my highschool. No way I would make it to the McDonalds, get my food and make it back in time before the bell rang. I did have an interesting story to tell at least. I dont know if its a Truant Officer thing or just my district was terrible, but I heard plenty of other stories from fellow classmates about how they got harassed by Truant Offices cus they happen to look young or be short or both. I remember one saying how a Truant Officer cut up their 'fake' ID.

I'm always shocked at how calm and patient people are in these stories. If a random lady put her hands on me like the airport lady, I'd either start swinging or start screaming.

6:00 I've has opposite experiences. When I was 9, I've always looks like I was 13. Not only did I look older, but I was tall for a kid my age. So my family and I go to an asian restaurant we regularly went to and the waitress and hostess were arguing with my dad that I was not under 13 so I was have to be charged under adult prices. My dad literally had to go into his car and show them my birth certificate to shut them up. Idk if there was any compensation unfortunately.

"This guy drinks for free tonight." That would be my all-time favorite sentence . . . but it has never happened to me. That was also my favorite story.🙂

That final story sure gave me a big smile...GG bro. Yesterday it actually happened to me "Lady, I don't work here" moment. Because I was wearing my dark-blue workcoat. And the supermarket I was looking through the vegetable stand, all the employees also use the same color clothing. Luckily this lady quickly caught that it was a coat...not a polo, and a different company stood on my back...Still managed to help her out (she was looking for a specific type of Tomato, because the super recently changed the layout).
