Question: Does the Receiver have to be bound first? Tried it again today and it still doesn't work. Firmware Flash Failed Device Not Responding. No explanation. This is a brand new X9D Plus 2019 and brand new RX8R Pro. I checked all the hookups, followed your procedure step by step. S.T.A.R.
hello friend, I can't bind the R XSR receiver with my Taranis QX7, I already updated the Firmoware but I was not successful, do you know anyone who shares the file?
I have the same controller and receiver as you. However when I go to download the R-XSR ACCESS firmware from the FrSky website, it has a different name and different file extension, RXSR_ACCESS_2.1.0.frsk. I load it on my SD card, go through the steps and I'm informed "firmware flash failed [EXIT]. no explanation what went wrong just "snafu full stop" Whisky Tango Foxtrot, over? I've been banging my head on this hardware and the instructions I'm able to find ALL DAY. Forget about FrSky I think they want you to damage your purchases as much as possible fumbling around. Then buy another one. In a really foul mood over this, after waiting so danged long for it to be delivered.
Dennis. Looks like FrSky has renamed their files recently. The other thing to watch out for is what type of Controller you have. ACCST vs ACCESS. The files now have the type of controller in the name.
