@@muffledpotat0245 Yeah. Many people don't like the effort to learn/play her, even more people dislike taking 60+ in a combo.

It’s a fair critique that she is really difficult to learn, but I agree the smash 4 issues is kinda irrelevant now. I typically find good Bayo content to be some of the most entertaining, but I main her so I’m biased :)

I never played Smash 4 but I'm still used to her being broken in Smash 4 lol because it's all that is ever said about her.

Up b is one of his best content qualities its a sd kill those are great content

Plus the Limit Breaks, especially Finishing Touch, are hype. Though that might just be my personal bias.

I didn't touch Cloud for a year and a half of Ultimate. I pick him up for one week and it feels like I've played him since day 1.

And you can even tech chase with Roller which is hype against players who mix up

Agreed. Falcon feels a lot like a character designed for fishing for finished and that is it. I’ve seen the same down air to knee or double down air clip so many times

Yh It's very lame when you can clearly tell people fish for that the whole match The good thing with Falcon tho is the murders offstage. I don't know if you regularly watch Fatality but offstage he's a whole new thing

That's why I like him more in Melee than in Ultimate. Just because of his combo routes being more diverse in Melee than in Ultimate.

@@Jay-qc9lj ewgf footstool is a cool concept but most people will just tech it because it’s pretty choreographed. Down b is usually not worth it, and I don’t think the other two would work as you get out of ewgf hitstun before you touch the ground and those are both grounded options that don’t hit high. You CAN do ewgf back air though and that’s a really good option at ledge

Amen. It all feels the same and it's made worse because everyone praises the character to high heaven. Not to mention the Falcon mains on quickplay all being sweaty tryhards that always stay for one game and dip (whether they lose or win), so i simply can't respect Falcon mains anymore. Fatality is the one exception for me, and that's saying a lot.

Same. He's honestly one of the most fake hype characters in the game. The average falcon uses the same combo as every other falcon and thinks it's the hypest thing ever. 😭

@2fast 4u I've always hated Inkling. Literally the worst Side B for edgeguarding I have ever seen. Did I mention that Pyra/Mythra is dead to me?

Not the best to solo only, but they are pretty meme worthy and nutty to play as if you are good with them. They are basically light like Pichu with the kill power of Sheik, and the best part about them is killing people on their last stock with the splat bomb since you get a cool kill screen.

@@thenoseguy difference is with hero he has a lot of glaring weaknesses and he’s fun because he’s just goofy, mythra pyra are just braindead top tiers. A hero who plays consistently is very respectable

As someone with a XC pfp, you should call these like Smash Art or Shield Art, not Smash Monado lol Also yes the cheesiest thing with Shulk is the dial storage with the arts. It's super hard to pull off tho but makes good content. Shame that people just don't like him because he has annoying aerials and the bad weeb rep

He does have a fair amount of unique options with the arts, but he is another spacing character, which I'm also not as much a fan of as it tends to be slower or spammy. He does have a counter which is interesting, but no moves or techs that are too crazy - that I can think of.

I also don’t play him because every move is a slash with a different animation

@@jestingset7893 what ABOUT it? Pika and Pichu are different enough that you can enjoy them as two separate characters. And don't be telling me pika's better. He's not actually better if he doesn't fit within your playstyle. If that's the case then give Pichu a whirl, just don't give up on the electric mice until you've tried both and decided that they don't fit how you like to play

So many Underdogs videos drive me crazy just because of this. Someone’s good and whoever’s losing just yells about them being lame, but it’s hype to land a spike or a random kill move after throwing it out 10 times

I agree. Characters with distinct (and accepted) playstyles lend themselves well for content. With the size of the roster, it also makes understanding unique techs harder unless you actually like and watch that character in the first place. This is also one reason why people overcomplain about lameness - they don't know the matchup because it's hard to memorize 80. I'm a Link main, but second Ganon among others so I'll explain him. In a playstyle sense he is quite risk reward and focused on reads (dare I say fear?) and he's also so bad that you have to be able to dodge around your opponent well and dash a lot (if you don't then your bad and slow). He either commits and takes a risk or finds an opening (no fishing or spamming safe options much). He basically has a lot of reads instead of crazy combos and techs, which is why people find him hype even if the player isn't great. His success is very variable, but winning with the worst character is cool. I personally like him because he is an explosive character without being too cheesy and his drawbacks seem balanced by his strength instead of annoying imo. One of the only characters where I don't even care that they have 2 moves that might as well not exist 😅

I'm a really big fan of methodical playstyles where you can see the adaption in real time so lucina is my main and my favorite character to watch at the moment. I also like watching characters I've played before and seeing how different players apply their kit so I end up giving my previous mains, pit and mii brawler, tons of attention.

for me i feel like he's just ike but with monado arts, i just spend the whole time fast fall n-airing, with the occasional landing back air, and up b as a edge guard/kill move. I will admit i like his suicide up b (jump off stage and up b toward the blast zone) to finish a match, as it is pretty hype as you have to commit to it and there's a chance you'll miss, but other than that i find him a bit stale to play.

guys I actually just picked up Corrin as one of my 5 secondaries this month. I was like wow, a quick character that also has decent hard-hitting options as well, seems like an improved version of Byleth with better tho more precise hard hitters and less spammy disjoints imo. Found several techs just testing in training mode by myself also. Like how feaseable/funny is this: Found a potential meme mixeup if you catch them with jab near ledge with a fast jab,jab -> dashback to be safe -> fsmash. If it doesn't poke or hit they will probably jump which is still where you want em, or read their approach, or maybe I'm completely wrong. Their fsmash is just so fast AND disjointed its amazing.

Not a corrin main and haven't played their games but corrin gets too much hate (still does deserve hate but not as much as corrin actually does)

It's mainly just because of the way they're played in most cases. Falco gets a pass because he's a combo heavy character with satisfying finishers, but Rosa and Steve don't because most of the time, the players camp with them, and as we know, if you're not playing a character has a insane combo game or fast and flashy, your character is lame according to them.

@@RanserSSF4 yeah, I kinda hate that mentality. if it's a character like Samus that just spams projectiles and you can't get in on them, I can understand, but Rosa and Steve both need to make the approach eventually, and when a Steve plays 4-D Chess with crazy set ups, they're not only fun, but also way more respectable than up-tilt mcNugget. (seriously, I hate Falco. a lot.)

I find that he somewhat doesn't let you 'play' the game like you want in a sense, even if the opponent can't combo well. You suddenly can't participate in edgeguarding/ledgetrapping very well because of quick attack. People also dislike spammy projectiles and getting comboed incessantly. Yes playing pika is hard, but they also get some get out of jail free cards that are seen as 'unfair' and he's tied for the best character for many reasons. I don't hate pika but yeah, they need a nerf.

I'm sorry... But I physically can't watch Olimar. It hurts to watch how horrible it is to play him, I would have designed a tier so low for him, it would be called the "Depressing" tier. That's where Olimar belongs. In the Shadow Realm

It's just the way most bad players play sora, which is just campy gameplay spamming the B button while mashing, kind of like most elite smash ness players. This sucks because while I do agree he can be lame (I do play him as a secondary), he actually does have cool stuff and is fun to watch in high/top level when someone good with him fully optimizes him, it just sucks you don't see it often.

nah there are way more people who are more vivid on him playing Isabelle. Still saving up to make Hop do a flip on stream lol
