One piece doesn’t have seasons, when talking about op, we always talk about it in arcs. So each arc has its own name and they are the seasons. And the arcs are named after the place or location that they visit/ explore.

19:45 one piece's story/plot may seem kinda random in the beginning for you, with them just going from one island/adventure to the next, but the story is ridiculously planned and connected. NOTHING IS RANDOM IN ONE PIECE, every arc connects to the plot, a lot of times things will happen that you'll understand only 500 episodes later, there are still HUMONGOUS revelations and plot twists of things happening TODAY(over 1000 episodes later) that you already saw by episode 8 but had no way to know.

There WAS a 1000th episode opening. It uses the EXACT same opening as the very first, but it gradually goes to widescreen and updates most of the visuals while keeping said visuals similar to the originals.

So at the current point in the story, we have a general sense for the things that have to happen and the places we have to go before the series ends. Its just a matter of how Oda is going to get us to those points. But even recently Oda has been surprising us left and right so we are all just letting him take us for the ride. And yeah, the last chapter was probably one of the best in the entire series, so the series keeps 1 uping itself in this current arc.

Someone else has already said it, but it's worth bringing up again; don't worry about us One Piece fans who came for the One Piece related content. Considering the length of One Piece itself, we have no problem sitting through something lengthy so long as we enjoy it. lol As for openings 22, 23 and 24 being peak One Piece, I honestly feel like the entirety of One Piece at some point in time was peak One Piece. Back when opening 6 was the newest arc, that was peak One Piece. Then during opening 13, *that* was peak One Piece. Now it seems like every new arc these days is peak One Piece. Absolutely crazy how it just keeps getting better without sacrificing the quality it had back in the day.

I like how you appreciate the author for thinking up so many characters and that's just one of his talents. Eiichiro Oda isn't one of the best selling fiction authors and the richest mangaka for nothing dude's the definition of creativity itself

Oda said in a recent interview he's planning to get to the ending in around 5 years, but will take more time if needed. Also no, he's only got one devil fruit. The rule in the series is if you eat a second devil fruit you die in a generally extremely painful way supposedly lol. There's no opening 25 yet. Search ep 1000 op if you want to watch that that special one, and romance dawn op if you want to watch that one. Those two might be why they said 26

They change fits every arc, they sometimes change clothes during an arc...depending on the environment

U should see the Opening for episode 1.000. Its the first one (again, yeas XD) but remastered with the new crew members, animation, etc. It's a bit different and the fandom loved it cause opening one is 100% nostalgia and we were waiting the episode 1000 so much.

One Piece doesn't have seasons it has arcs but truly it is one continuous story. Oda the author of the manga has announced that as of now he that the story is more than half way finished. Oda is hell of an author. Edit: It's ok to watch ALL the openings because you don't have the context to be spoiled by what you are seeing.

I'm firmly convinced that Oda has travelled to the One Piece universe and now just tells the story after he returned.

Fun fact: The One Piece we have now is actually an abridged version and the Creator, Oda wanted to basically last forever but he at last wants an ending to this anime before he dies.

Oda said OP will be finished on 5 years but he also said that 5 years ago, so.... If u wask me, I would say between 4 and 7-8. For me, 7 more years would be perfect to give us all the information we need, 'cause we still have more questions than answers. But he could finish it on 3-4 years if he speed it up and skip or condense some info (please, no :'( ). Anyway, in goda we trust.

if you are new to the one piece series i would recommend you seeing the one pace version of it, it's one piece edited without the fillers that usually accompany lengthy shows

For the ending of One Piece well the author Eiichiro Oda said back in 1999 that one piece would only last 5 years but it keep going then back in 2018 he said it will finish in 5 more year but it didn't and now he said the show is 80% done and that it will finish in the next 5 years so.... we don't really know🤷‍♀

We think that One Piece probably has about 5 years left if there are no odd delays (like Covid again). And like above, One Piece isn’t judged by seasons, it’s by arcs and each arc corresponds to the location and adventure they’re currently on. (IE: East Blue arc, Alabasta arc) Lastly, I’m sure others have said this but the early intros were fun and upbeat but that didn’t mean the story was. 30ish episodes in and I was a bawling mess over a character’s backstory/trauma so this show hits hard and deep quickly. And once you’re hooked, you will not stop. This show builds on itself and then builds some more. You will rewatch the openings, see the characters, and wonder why you thought you couldn’t remember all their names because they are all important and unique. Have lots of fun dude and prepare for a roller coaster that does not stop!

I think i know why they say 26 opening. It's probably the Romance Dawn opening and The episode 1000 special opening right before opening 24.

The opening that CrunchyRoll labeled as 24 is actually the 25th opening, the 24th opening was the 1000 ep special and its an amazing remaster of the first opening. You should 100% watch it.

Luffy doesn't have another fruit, if one person eats another fruit they die (if they already have one.) All I'm going to say is that Luffy is using something called Haki.

The one piece story already has a determined ending it's just that none of us know it yet and the story is not at all random and it actually planned out into one GIANT adventure around the world and once you're really invested and make it far into the story you'll understand the rock solid plot it has, the seasons arent called seasons but arcs and are named after the island or place that arc would take place of as in (Dressrosa, Alabasta, Drum island, Whole Cake, Wano country) I cant wait to see you thoughts on the show and its characters. Honestly the best anime I've picked up on.

Right now in anime and manga were in the 4 emperors saga, we've been in this saga since timeskip which was I think in 2013 and the next saga has been confirmed to be the last one but its gonna be quite long.

From the start the writer Oda knew how he will end the story, he fleshes it out and adds new plot points and characters as he works but he's had the overall plot since practically childhood, he first came up with the concept when he was around 8. We have around 2-5 major arcs left, so we're close but still near 10 years away from the ending depending on how long the arcs are after the current arc Wano. And a huge part of One Piece is how things can be foreshadowed a decade or more in advance and we had no idea til a new reveal hits us and then you reread/rewatch older arcs and notice all the clues now. And there's over a thousand named characters now and you'll remember most of them and their names by the time you're caught up, and the creator Oda also does these extra things where he gives backgrounds to characters extra stuff like likes/dislikes or extra info about islands and cultures and such. Like the place that looks like candy land, Whole Cake Island, has several dozen smaller islands that's part of it and we know what they all export and who the governor of each is (they're all children of that huge woman in pink Big Mom) so even people we haven't seen in the story has names and history about them. And there's one extra opening, episode 1000 did a special remake of the first opening but was only used in that episode which is why it's not included in the number list.

Currently in the manga the creator of op, oda made 10/10 chapters after 10/10 chapters. Even the ones who are on the last ep can't wait what will come animated ♥️

Most of the arc are connected regardless in first 50 till compare with 900 ep+ still have some kind of connection... Crazy huh

So about One Piece ending, it is now slowly approaching the final section of the story, and the creator said that hes looking to wrap it up in the next couple years,. Id say itll take 5 years or something like that untill its actually finished and longer for anime watchers.

So with one piece if you ever choose to watch I recommend one pace which is a fan project that removes all the filler from the show. Cutting it down from about 850 where it is at right now down to 450 or so. I also is a far better experience for later in the show when it gets to about one chapter an episode.

Currently, the creator of One Piece, Echira Oda, has stated that One Piece's manga will end roughly in about 3-4 years. But that could change. As he has been planning this story for decades (Since he was in his late teens?), and that he could be deceiving us. Plus, there could be some more filler episodes and films for the anime.

19:40 we dont know precisely how many more arcs/seasons there will be but oda (the author) said a few years ago that the story was about 80% complete at the time and the current evens definitely feel like some end game stuff so I'd guess theres somewhere around 5 more years of production.

The next arc should be the last one but that can span hundreds of episodes and even sub arcs which there usually are.

Not sure if any1 has said this yet but the author echiro oda does know exactly how this story will end and it can't be more then about 10 years from now. His story and world is just so detailed it has been longer than expected but don't get the wrong idea everything is planned it just happens that the world is so rich on details that it's taking longer than expected. But trust me anyone that is caught up is as much looking forward to the end as much as they don't want it to end 😅😂

people saying this is the peak coz oda sensei told us that the final saga started at the end of this month (around 29th) after he's back from his visit to africa about one piece live action and he's want to preparing this last saga so the manga stop about 1 month. the end of one piece will be 3-5 years from now according to oda sensei interview. i forgot where it was. the thing that most OP fans really excited is the wait from 1 chapter to the next. so i really suggest you to watch/read one piece right now. cause i know if one piece end it will be trending all over the place and spoilers everywhere like a while ago when luffy secret reveal and become number 1 trending because oda sensei has fooled us for 25 years😂. so read it so u can get the excitement we fell in love with :) and about characters and places, oda sensei inspired with people and places that really existed in real world. like eminem, capone, freddy mercury and so many others.

Dont worry about the story not getting serious in the first half, the first openings just didnt show any context so they wont spoil you, but at some point they started showing a lot of the stuff happening in the episodes in the openings. The show has always some very serious moments mixed in.

"He goes more Op as he goes" you have no idea how right you are (without spoiling) in the last few chapters Luffy goes ABSOLUTLY crazy, and one opening you "missed" was the 1k special for the 1000 Episode it played only on that one episode and because of that it wasn´t listed with op nr.

Out of all these, I'd say my top 5 are: 1 - OP 13 2 - OP 1 (and 1000th ep remake) 3 - OP 14 4 - OP 20 5 - OP 24 They are all honestly really good. Some shout outs, 16, 23, 4, and 5 One Piece is an adventure. Starts out kind of slow, but man when the story starts to pick up, get ready. As people have said, recent chapters is breaking the internet. If I was you, I'd jump into One Piece and not look up anything One Piece for a while to avoid spoilers. Maybe give us arc reviews if you want.... or you can put in that work and react every episode (ton of work). You wouldn't enjoy it as much if you don't binge watch it tbh. Also, the anime is so long thag you will forget more than half the shit in these openings lol

1045 chapters in and oda just stated that one piece might end in around 5 years and by chapter 1000 that is about to be animated next week we were i believe at just around 900 Cannon named characters.(Does not include filler characters in the anime).
