The first movie was Tyler vs Indian military. This movie was Tyler vs crazy Tarkov LARPers. The third movie would be him vs evil Dungeon & Dragons cult with swords and everything.

I thought that at first too, but he wasn’t taking cover behind it. The helicopters blasting, so he squeezes up to the wall to make himself as small as possible. Not just stand in the doorway being as big a target as possible. But still, they could’ve made that part different lol

The kid literally lived in a prison where his dad ran everything. To cope with that shitty situation you gotta get along and start looking at it as a good thing, which is much easier for kids to do, look at the men around him working for his father. It was an acquired taste for the son - that's why the father wanted them there with him to begin with, plus having access to his lady is an unheard of bonus to have in prison. That's like winning the prison lottery right there.

LOL, this entire movie I kept screaming out, "STUPID, STUPID KID!!". I too love how this movie showed Rake not recovering quickly and even did not want to live at first & it was a mental struggle for him. That was very realistic & not often shown in movies. You probably already read about this by now, but Chris Hemsworth talked about meeting Schwarzenegger in the gym. He said, "A lot of [the films] he's done have inspired action [films] to this day and certainly myself and [Extraction 2 director] Sam [Hargrave] referenced a lot of his films. There's a scene where I'm on top of a train holding a big minigun and I was like, 'We gotta do the Arnold Commando shot!'". In honor of that, I think you guys should watch Commando & other Schwarzenegger action movies. I would not be surprised if Schwarzenegger even appears in Extraction 3, especially given Schwarzenegger has his own Netflix show. Actually, that scene with the helicopter shooting into the side of the building reminded me of True Lies. LOL, DC meets Marvel with Idris Elba (aka Bloodsport) and Chris Hemsworth (Thor). I also recommend you see the Rambo movies & other Stallone action movies since both Schwarzenegger & Stallone had a big action movie rivalry trying to outdo the other. In fact, I read somewhere the ending of Commando was even rewritten last minute to try to outdo what Stallone did at the end of Rambo 2 (Rambo 2 was originally just Rambo & later First Blood was renamed Rambo). Also, that whole Rake training sequence in the snow reminded me of Rocky 4. That whole prison fight sequence did seem very inspired by The Raid 2. Seriously, if there is a movie I would consider to be the american equivalent of The Raid 2 (minus some gore), in terms of all the intense back-to-back action sequences, choreography AND filming style techniques, it is Extraction 2. I've always considered Dredd with Karl Urban to be the american equivalent of The Raid, but Extraction 2 is the american equivalent of The Raid 2. I love Commando & am a big fan of both Schwarzenegger & Stallone.

(I'm saying this, because someone once replied to my comment that they thought it was a made up country.) 2. Those Georgian actors are pretty famous here. I really enjoyed Extraction 2😆🔥. Great to see Idris Elba in this film as well, the Thor and Heimdal reunion in the MCU was back. Really sad to see Yaz die🙁. I loved the prison action sequence and the train action sequence👍. Chris Hemsworth was just amazing in this film and I think that Tyler is slowly becoming an iconic character for him. It's not the end of the world, you can collect digitally since it's relatively inexpensive, easier and occupies less physical space (space for NAS and hard drives/etc if we're talking multiple TBs) or you can get a bluray burner and keep it physical, though the space you lose is way bigger.

Basicly same as the streaming versions... company stops support and digital content stops working 🙄 and as I said, I am collector, I want my movies to be on different kind of cases. Having the cover arts, factory made discs and other stuff aside is big part of collecting. Sure fysical media take more storage space but rather that than silly portable harddrive full of " ones & zeros".

And I still gave you an alternative for how to keep DVDs and BluRay if companies don't sell it, complaining is pointless when there are solutions. Also sorry but the whole "full of ones & zeros and its silly" sounds really stupid and just gives away your age, you don't have to like the innovation but there are literally no arguments to defend physical media nowadays, digital is universally better for obvious reasons.

Nah, revenge isn't about who's strong. It's just revenge. Why do people like to mix it up with nonsense saying, like it's a strength or a macho thing. And you guys pretty much got it as well until you went all over the place. The problem with the bad guy was that he was so angry that he stopped thinking. He didn't care about macho thing, he didn't care about pride, didn't care about strength. He was just so angry that he wanted to just kill Tyler, and didn't follow the adage about Revenge being a dish best served cold.

I liked the first one more, but this one is still good. I don't care for 1-shots myself, so I am disappointed they leaned into that harder. I like the fights in these a lot more than John Wick. Just scrappier and more realistic. Some of the helicopter stuff felt over the top, but most of the stuff felt pretty grounded. Which I think is a good thing.

I liked this more then first one, it feel more real like you said, choreo was chaotic and a little "what I have around will do", there were a team and when they get hurt it slower them, etc, and not some super human things, also the kid with his age he would be between too deep into ideology and be still too naive what is really going on and whats better. so this all feld good. For me 3 or 4 times better then first. The scene wirh train was the most unrealistic for menbut yeah action movie hehe.
