Such perfect timing. I've been going through a season of being falsely accused and being rejected as a result of it. Something a friend told me that is giving me peace during this season is "Sometimes rejection is just God's 'no.' "

Just went through a horrible break up, my compassion for breakups and rejections definitely grew!

I love the idea of a Monday night dinner and being able to help someone feel welcomed, loved, and accepted. My biggest rejection happened when I was 3.5 and is my first memory. That surely has carried with me to this day. I look forward to Lysa's book!

Rejection has been a prominent theme in my life recently. From coworkers, to my closest "friends", to my church community, to the point I was deceived into believing in rejection from God. An answer to my current season, thank you miss.

I've been rejected so many times and it does hurt alot. Rejection is one topic I personally haven't enough of.

I've always desired to do the same as a TV and radio host but there aren't any outlets for someone on the beginner's level living in South Florida. Jesus was rejected by His own and yet He still willingly continued His ministry and ultimately laid down His life for the world. He saw a bigger vision of humanity and that fueled Him. It certainly wasn't the final say in His life, nor should it be in ours.

I have given up. I always thought I would be a wonderful husband and father. I was rejected over and over in my late teens and early 20s. Now I'm 45 and I've lost hope. My relationship with God has been destroyed and I'll be forever lost. Why was I put on earth? Paul said, "Be married. It is better for you to be married than for your body to burn with passion." What can a rejected man do with that advice?

Actually it can be. I rejected an Nigerian man I wanted in my heart but it was worth rejecting him for someone better and even more godly.

Oh, I love that! First, we invite Him in before we go out and change the world. I agree whole heartedly. Relationship is first and foremost. It really is in our spending time with Jesus and investing in growing to know Him that we are filled with His amazing love. If we "go" with out taking the time to really know Him, we will give people a weak representation of who He is.

Never had a rejection before, cause I never asked to be accepted. But... Perhaps soon, I'm about to either be rejected or not rejected. Anyways, good video to listen about this topic that is hardly touched on in this perspective!
