Hey girl. I'm a born again Christian, but weed has been my weakness since I used it during my traumatic years. I used it to numb myself and survive. I was clean for 6 months and relapsed again.. And started doing it again.. Out of nowhere.. After feeling full and happy. But I did go through a break up. And I think it triggered something. But you were spot on with the compassion thing.. I want to dig deeper and try to understand why I started doing it, and heal those parts..

Leilah!! I am sending you so much love ❤️❤️❤️ I am VERY HAPPY that you did what you needed to for survival, you bless us with your presence. And rthe end of a relationship can be SUPER triggering so it makes total sense why you returned to something that helped you in the past. I'm really glad you're giving yourself compassion, you deserve all of it and more.

been casually checking out videos about quitting smoking today with a bowl packee next to me. i am on my way, and i know i am close to quitting. videos like this give me hope and i will most likely be coming back to your channel once i've decided it's time, once and for all. weed came into my life when i felt like i had no hope in getting better. i have hope in getting better now, which is why i feel weed is becoming weirder and less attractive to me. thank you for this video.

Liv, it is AMAZING that your hope has returned! That in itself deserves a celebration. I know when the time is right, your relationship to smoking will evolve and it will happen exactly as you need it to. I am so happy this video reached you and I am so excited for what's coming up for you!

This was right on timeee! I’ve been “trying” to quit for years now but recently I reached my fed up point. It’s time for a change. I have been soo hard on myself for not being able to… but showing compassion to myself plus recognizing the good that weed has done for me through my healing is key. These tools you shared will definitely help me on my journey. Thanks for sharing this 💗

You wanna know the worst part about this withdrawal for me? Although I'm ALWAYS there for people, it's never reciprocated. Marijuana withdrawal is like a joke to people. As if its not a serious process. No one to call just to chat. Unless it's about THEM. No friends, no family. No support. It just gets depressing you know?? Especially when you're always there for people no matter what!! You end up feeling like a complete lonely suicidal dodo bird. You know?? It's heartbreaking.

I am so sorry that no one is showing up to support you as you commit to withdrawing. You deserve that love and support, and not just because you gave it to others, you simply ARE WORTHY OF IT. I am sending you a lot of love and I hope you know that no matter how broken your heart it, it will always mend ❤️‍🩹

This video has so much value!! I originally found your channel from your first weed vid and so glad I did! I’ve never thought about the fact that without the coping mechanism (smoking) I probably wouldn’t be here today. I have to thank you girl, always stoked to see more content about this as I know it’s niche 😚

Chimdi! Your videos always find me when I need them, lol! I literally just quit (again) today and I come across this video. I am done with it! And I feel somewhat at peace with it, but also scared because I've been a smoker for 20 years, like every day for 20 years, and it's like all I know to do. But I need to do it! May the Lord give me strength and keep my resolve for a cleaner life! I've been thinking of trying to get back to my younger self from before I started smoking, try to remember what dreams and aspirations that little girl may have had and see if there's anything I can do to make them happen. So I found it interesting you mentioned something about the reason why you may have started smoking in the first place. I feel like I should reflect on my teenage years a bit, but I dont wanna, but I also can't run from it forever, can't suppress it forever. Facing obstacles is the only way to grow. I'm saving this video and watching it when I feel tempted to smoke again in a few days (*cough, cough* tomorrow). I really want a clean life full of more fulfilling things than numbing my brain cells and making it to the end of a work week. I want to read more so I am hoping to substitute smoking time with reading time. and I have a goal to read a book a month! a little behind on that because I just started that about a week ago and I am a slow reader, but I figure if I actually read 10-12 books this year that would be amazing! and I want to reconnect with my creative side. I've felt out of touch with it for a while now and really want to create things. Thank you Chimdi for these videos! May you continue to be blessed!

Leigh!! I am praying for your strength as well and I am so excited hearing you talk about remembering your dreams and aspirations. And I totally hear you about not wanting to really visit those younger times but knowing that suppression isn't an option. Maybe you can explore seeing those experiences as simply energy that's being stored in your body and focus on moving that energy instead of being caught up in the story? I've been trying that approach lately and it's really been helpful for me. And I'm excited for the books you're going to start reading and for all of this new creative flow! It's going to be amazing!!! 🥳🥳🥳
