Replacing the engine in the go kart with the Amazon Bilt Hard 7hp motor 

Thanks for posting this video. I went through the exact same problem with the Harbor Freight Motor a few nights ago. Ended up pulling the trigger on this engine and it arrived today. You just saved me hours of figuring out the mounting and accelerator and oil shutoff mods. Thanks! Boys will be blasting around sooner than expected on this free curbside gokart.

I ran into the same situation as you with the chain length,shortened it twice, and still short.I ended up just adding a couple washers between the motor and mounting bracket, and got it perfect with the torque a verter.

I just put mine on today with the same application. And the results are fantastic fired up single pull Extremely fast twenty five miles an hour on the old motor thirty five miles an hour now

Kinda odd i know but im here in the process of building my first mini bike, really stuck and frustrated but seeing the little motor i got for it running around gives me some hope. Thank you mate :)

just put this motor on my gokart, it looks great but it is acting kind of weird. so bassically i can start it and it will run for a minute, and then it will shut off. just wondering if you have ever had this problem withy this, and is there an easy fix?
