Im 40 but I loved watching As the World Turns, I watched it with my mom since I was 8 years old she would tape it and we would watch it at night together ❤ we watched it until it went off the air! Gosh do I miss those days!

I was raised on Santa Barbara and DOOL in the 80s

I think the cancellation had to do with Miller Boyett Productions wanting to have all the TGIF slots and since they had clout, they were able to get it from ABC. So they took off Ten and replaced it with Going Places, from MB, which only lasted one season and had a bit of a retooling midway through it. They couldn't find another night for Ten and didn't even think to bring it back midseason when some shows failed. At least a few years later, the dummies at ABC admitted their mistake to cancelling it too soon.

Syndication always cuts stuff. That's what's wrong with it.

Season 3 had some really good episodes, like the Smoking one and the Choir. Can't wait till Jeremy gets to that in several weeks.

You know, this comment (no joke) prompted me to buy some liver to give it a try. I read about a lot of chemo patients eating liver for that very reason, so I'm going to try it. I'll admit I'm very nervous about it!

@@RetroFat What I used to do is just use a bit of cooked liver (1/2 the size of my thumb) and juice it up with my smoothie in the blender. You can't even taste it and goes directly to your bodies cells instead of having to be digested. Iron level shot up quickly!

Yep, misspeak. I think the rhyming of the names scrambles my brain a bit at times if I talk too fast.

Definitely! I still plan to do them all in order, and I don't think his episodes showed up 'til season 3, but they're on the way!

@@RetroFat Yeah, he came in the third season. There are some good ones in that last season I can't wait to see.

I have actually had that thought! I'd probably have to do a partial reaction (just show the JtToU parts) since Growing Pains would probably definitely trigger the copyright algorithm, but I do think that's a great idea!
