No, it's just common courtesy. I know a lot of the youngest generation right now does not understand that but that's actually a kind of the normal thing it's not funny you're unusual I know ironically it is because now it is but you get my point
This is just hilarious because like, it feels so sitcom to have two insufferable influencers run into eachother during a shoot and just automatically start bullying eachother
I feel like a sitcom would have a funnier resolution though. Like they both get kicked out, then both make poor apology videos while simultaneously thinking they're in the right based off their viewers' comments.
"We forgive you Brent" that comment was so funny to me. The graciousness of bestowing your forgiveness in a situation you were completely uninvolved in .
I am also late to this, but I am so glad you mentioned Tyler being instigatory. Every comment I saw about this situation was tearing into Brent and not at all mentioning the fact that Tyler waltzed in there and started demanding answers from Brent, while he's in the middle of filming, as if he didn't have a right to be there. They were both so obnoxiously pompous in this video for no reason. It's like watching two middle schoolers try to fight and all that ends up happening is they pull each other's hair before a teacher steps in.
PRECISELY THIS!!! I was in the comments of Tyler's video and felt like I was going CRAZY or like.... missing something?? Not like Brent or his crew are exactly nice people either, but damn Tyler was in interrogation mode from the moment he came out for no reason???
@@PeytonPearson right? Like his first reaction is to start getting in people's faces and interrogate them like he's doing an interview. And the girls he runs into tell him that they're filming a prank. Like...he got his answer straight away and still went on to interrupt them. Both of them were annoying as hell
Tyler is only 22 and he does a lot of investigative journalism. He was pissed because brents friends werent respecting the hotel and other peoples privacy. Id be pissed and upset. I personally like tyler a lot. Brents content just isnt attractive to me and preys on kids lack of awareness and gullableness
I'm glad Danny is nonbiased enough to point out how both parties were acting inappropriate. But, I'm mostly proud of Danny for being open about how he was the one who started this whole mess.
@@berkeleyisonline160 ikr, I love how he doubled down a few times. He also didn’t instigate anything besides the first interaction, he’s an agent of chaos of sorts and earned my respect.
Ikr worse then children fighting but still Brent was worse- dude was still lying in there videos/apology still sexualise his sister- and he’s been caught more then 5 times sending copyright strikes to people For invalid reason which can get your account terminated but what can we do?RU-vid does not want to remove people that have over 15m- and also he got the guy kicked out of the hotel and it cost tyler an fortune to book it and he had booked it in advance he lost over 10,000 usd
I feel like the only RU-vidrs I’d be cool with are Sam and Colby😭 both of these RU-vidrs were in the wrong but mostly Tyler bc he was instigating but they’re both hella weird..but lemme tell you, if Sam and Colby were recording id be honored 😭
I feel bad for Tyler for that exact reason- I hope he got his refund. I know he’s the one who kept responding/recording but Brent is SUPER entitled and definitely doesn’t deserve the platform he has.
@@D44RK_Iced_Yogs I don't know if I feel bad for him because he was antagonising Brent on purpose, but I do think it's unfair, and seeing Brent and his friends mockingly telling Tyler he's getting kicked out is infuriating.
I’m actually pretty happy that this internet beef is so harmless and funny. It’s refreshing, especially after some of the other rollercoasters we’ve experienced.
danny has caused an internet fight, reviewed his legal options, got slapped by legal, ran a marathon, and became a sleep paralysis demon and is still giving us great content edit: not to be that person but 8.8k likes in 2 days calm down yall
I'm not a Brent Rivera fan at all, quite the opposite, I loathe him, but tyler was the aggressor here. Brent however really pulled back the curtain and gave everyone a glimpse of his true character.. Can't say I'm surprised. And of course Brent's fans forgive, they're 10!
for people who are confused about why everyone is saying this is danny's fault: at the beginning of this video danny says this drama is his fault and people are agreeing with him in a joking way.
Yeah, to add on, he's explaining that it may be his fault because he filmed a video at the Stanley about ghost hunting. Check it out if you can - it's hilarious
@@trash_can6780I think both parties are to blame, why did Tyler feel the need to antagonize him in the first place, and why did Brent react so harshly over something so childish.
I think this is pretty much what most people think. Tyler would've gotten SOOOO much shit had it not been for the continuation that Brent and his friends kept continuing throughout the rest of the time there. Tyler definitely initiated the uncomfortable atmosphere overall. Honestly had this not ended with Tyler getting kicked out it probably wouldn't have been as big a deal.
@@sammyjones8882 both are definitely to blame but as I’ve said in another comment thread, I would’ve done exactly the same thing. Brent is a dude who’s been a butt of joke for years and confronting him just makes for great content. I also personally don’t like the exploitation of both his viewers and even friends or family so I probably would’ve acted the same exact way to see what would happen.
Brent Rivera's fans: "It's okay you did nothing wrong" Tyler Oliveira's fans: "It's okay you did nothing wrong" Danny's fans: "Yep, it's your fault. Stupid Danny" Gotta love this community, never taking anything serious lol, love it when people can just joke and not get annoyed by it
I actually love this kind of thing, like a crazy conspiracy connection that keeps going back to lay the blame in an unexpected place that's entirely meant to be a joke. It's also a nice way to talk about internet drama in a different way than other youtubers, by framing it in a way that's like "it was all MY fault!"
Let’s all take a moment to thank Danny for not overtaking places in the hotel for his filming, he didn’t overtake a hallway or the basement he just filmed in his private room
@@litehomesociety i mean they do have a point lol cus yes danny didn't call the police on someone for filming in the same hotel as him but like neither brent or tyler were "overtaking" the hotel or sum
Lowkey if danny isn't at the center I DONT CARE. Also danny please respond to my Instagram dm, the trip is in 2 weeks so we are on a time crunch, gotta make sure all my homies can make it
This really just feels like two guys being super obnoxious to each other for no reason, and a bunch of people freaked out about it. This is the internet equivalent of watching two strangers get into an argument at Dennys.
Love how Danny causes this whole beef between RU-vidrs and in his apology he doesn't apologize to his fans or the other RU-vidrs, he apologizes to the hotel staff because they actually had to deal with this
Ok, but two big youtubers' filming crew stuck in the spooky hotel is a great premise for a comedy horror movie. Like, the crazy paranormal things are happening and they think the other group is sabotaging them with pranks. I'd watch that.
Dude the idea of two youtubers organically running into each other while trying to make the same video is funny as hell, and the way they both imploded with anger at the situation just makes it that much funnier. This is the goofiest drama and it's really funny how serious they're both taking it. Danny taking credit is just the icing on top. 🤣
Here’s the twist: this entire interaction was fake, it was a collab planned by both Brent and Tyler, for views. This can’t be real, it’s too surreal and ridiculous.
they'll probably use this beef to promote some youtube boxing event that just so happens to have the both of them competing in. you know, to "settle things once and for all"
They were both wrong in this situation. Tyler was instigating but Brent and his friends didn’t respond the way you’d expect “professionals” to respond.
Yeah, there are much more mature and effective ways to deal with this. "I don't want to engage in anything that could lead to drama. But hey, about we exchange schedules and film plans so that we can avoid messing up eachothers shots" He could've responded jokingly to the question about his videos being fake: "Well, that's not exactly a mystery". It's playing it off, but also leaving room for plausible deniability if he's worried about that.
I just wanna let you know Danny that we ,Greg, know that you are entirely at fault for the situation. But we are very proud that you apologised formally.
Am I the only one who doesn't forgive danny? Idk how you guys are just deciding to move on like this is just no big deal. like at least he took accountability for being entirely at fault for this earth shattering feud but this isn't something we can just forget..
It'd be hilarious to find out later down the line that this entire "beef" was fake itself. Would not surprise me one bit if both of them were in on it.
i think the "beef" was faked because... why do the security guards need to call the cops on someone who's just... talking to another person? like, there was no fighting, tyler and brent were just being assholes and yet tyler got "kicked" out of the hotel.
I’m in TEARS this RU-vidr drama feels like something that only happens in comedy bits. The fact that they both copied the clown hotel thumbnail- the irony, the intrigue, the audacity. Danny inexplicably taking the blame for this- It’s art.
All the "haunted" hotels in America are just full of RU-vidrs, TikTokers and various sundry other influencers keeping the general public safe from ever accidentally staying in a haunted hotel again. The next time I book a hotel I'm asking how many RU-vidrs are staying there. If there's more than 1, it's "haunted".
As a non famous person I would be so pissed at weird ass people filming when I'm at a hotel. I wonder if the hotel even has regular visitors. Because I would 100% feel cheated if I had to put up with creepy (Instagram?? Or whatever I'm old) people filming in the hallway. That is just such a violation. I mean, I hope they made an arrangement with the hotel first. * As far as I'm aware, Danny did not use the hotel as his personal film set, so he is excluded from my wrath here. Just in case you thought I had beef with him.
most youtubers can’t own up to their mistakes and actaully mean it, thank you for being sincere, we, greg, can tell that you made a mistake but resolved it the proper way.
@@erickagilson7179 Tyler was definitely the least childish imo- the man was just the incarnation of a online troll and I found that really funny. He didn’t act like a stuck up prick either, he didn’t put down Brent himself rather his content and his really immature way of telling Tyler off. Tyler wasn’t going out of his way either after the first instigation- he just so happened to be in the right place and time. I think Tyler has some blame but he didn’t do anything unless Brent did something (yk except the first instigation)- if Brent just let him do his thing during the booked tour that was planned in advance or not instigated during the hallway then it would’ve ended as soon as Brent got peeved and asked him to leave for filming.
ppl look for clout in anything these days. one guy was kind of instigating and the other responded with a dumb entitled comment. this isnt even a fight definitely not worth and "exposing" video or an apology vid or anything its just stupid😭
The ego on these boys. I've worked at a hotel and it is such a pain in the ass to have someone call the cops over stupud shit. Also Danny, you're not to blame, you just caused this whole mess. We'll always support you, no matter how many scandals you cause.
Really, like how can anyone be allowed to call the cops and have someone kicked out for literally coincidentally being in the same area as them. He was well aware he’s also filming his own video and not really stalking him, the ego this guy has. It’s a hallway, can no one roam a hallway or have a tour they had booked well in advance ? The guy wasn’t barging in his room or anything. True, he may have seemed a little rude because of the jokes he cracked, but it’s not something to get heated up over. What a petty man.
@@atarusama101 My man… Tyler was instigating drama. He comes up to Brent twice when they’re trying to film. I’d bet that Brent told the hotel they were filming & since he has a higher sub count, they decided to kick out Tyler since he’s instigating & not worth keeping at the hotel.
5:21 YOOOO DANNY WATCHES THE BOYS 😮😮😮 That's awesome. I honestly love seeing my favorite creators get more attention. Eddi, Juicey, Mully, Josh, and Narrator are all so cool and deserve more recognition.
@@leech7354 I was for almost 2 weeks, they're dangerous. Friends become fiends, teachers become (extra) passive aggressive and old drama gets a refresher.
As soon as I heard what happened I knew it was for sure your fault, Danny. I used critical thinking and figured it out well before you had to tell us, but I'm glad you came clean.
Danny, I want to apologize to you. I may have inadvertently inspired you to visit The Stanley Hotel to begin with. I realize now that by consistently and repeatedly watching your videos, I may have been what drove you to create even more content. I will try to do better in the future. I am no longer that person and I just want to move past this.
Brent really had the opportunity to be the darling here. Being humble and polite and just offering to film at a different time if they were bothering Tyler would have resulted in a lot of expensive lost time in the hotel for Tyler, complete with lots of raw footage of himself looking like a huge asshole. He could have made Tyler look like a bully while painting himself as the sympathetic victim, but when a person is bad inside those true colors always shine through eventually.
Tyler didn’t need Brent to look like a bully. Tyler was a jerk at the start and continued to be one through. Brent and his friends don’t look great but Tyler only looks slightly less bad.
@aijadawn3547h they're stating from Brent's side of things. If Brent had acted differently, he could have come out looking extra squeaky clean in comparison to Tyler WHILE Tyler would lose out on time/money.
Every time Danny or Drew say they are “late to the party” it’s always my first time hearing abt it cuz I avoid most social media drama. I just wanna hear them joke abt it all
Everyone was completely ragging on Brent but I'm glad someone finally pointed out that Tyler was instigating. I am not a fan of Brent but I was surprised people weren't calling Tyler out at all for his part in it.
From what i saw of the incidents filmed was that tyler satrted it the first time, then brent went out of his way to antagonize him every other time and tyler responded to the antagonizm. They both handled it very poorly, but all signs point to brent using his influence to force the hotel to kick out tyler even though he was the one making less noise and complaints. Brent or one of his people was the one to mention that security would come for them, security didn't let tyler explain, and they then kicked him out. I feel that if brent had posted any of the footage of tyler bothering him so there"d be context instead of starting with a half truth and devolving into lies and showing nothing to back it up, this would have been a whole different situation. As it stands, i have 0 positive opinion about brenr and a meh opinion of tyler following this when i started out not knowing who either were.
Yeah, and like... the parts of the videos that we saw of Tyler being incredibly rude are the parts he LEFT. Am I seriously the only one who is fully assuming Tyler was much, much more antagonistic off screen? It goes without saying, to me, that those sort of videos are showing the opposing side in the worst side possible. I feel like "you're a pathetic no name youtuber" is exactly what you should tell any youtuber who is egging you for views (That's a lie, what you should do is blast Disney music from your phone)
I love seeing a showdown between two obnoxious people, like on one hand Brent is an insufferable, self-absorbed douchebag. On the other hand, Tyler went out of his way to cause unnecessary drama. The only people I feel bad for in this situation would be the hotel employees who don't get paid enough to deal with this shit
So… I think the biggest issue with the situation was Brent unfairly got Tyler kicked out of the hotel for no good reason and it ended up costing around $4000 in fees including changed flights, hotel fees, etc. (I think it was $4000) That was the main issue I got from the situation. Also yes, Brent copyrights videos painting him in a bad light.
It's nice finally seeing someone holding Tyler accountable for his actions in all of this. He really did start it by demanding everyone's names and questioning them in the tone that he did. I feel like they were both in the wrong in their own ways
I mean, if a bunch of people were standing outside your hotel room dressed in costumes and holding cameras, you’d ask what was going on too right? Maybe he sounded a tad aggressive but I would have probably reacted similarly. Especially if they filmed me without consent
@@sootekken I mean, I would be curious and ask what was going on and then leave, because it’s not that big a deal. Tyler made it a bigger deal than it needed to be and seemed like he just wanted to antagonize them
@@sootekken yeah I'd be curious, but I wouldn't walk up and down the hallway demanding everyone tell me who they are and what they're doing. Then add a question that was clearly going to get a reaction out of someone.
@@sootekken Isn't Tyler the one filming without consent? Chances are Brent Rivera wouldn't have used a shot with Tyler in it anyway. Honestly I'm surprised they only kicked Tyler out. I think he deserved it more than a lot of people here seem to think (because he was, at the end of the day, basically harassing Brent) but I also don't know how Brent Rivera was able to stay when he was clearly bothering guests with his filming.
it really shows how responsible you are by taking accountability for your heinous actions, causing these other youtubers to beef solely because of you. good job Danny, we are proud of you for taking the right steps to your recovery of… wait is this an intervention all the sudden?
Let’s face it y’all… it’s not Danny’s fault. It’s us. As Greg, we should take responsibility for our actions that led to this scandal of highest proportions between two RU-vidrs completely unrelated to us
thank you for coming clean and admitting your mistake, i think I speak for all Gregs when I say that we are shocked that you would get involved and cause drama like this, but at the end of the day. it may take time but I think it is safe to say that we are your family and we will not be going anywhere
@@allysonfunk2010 I don’t remember but considering I needed legal assistance to provide an answer then I’m guessing … somewhat along the lines of “how would u know that” 💀

idk I think brent is totally valid in his response to tyler, at least in their first two interactions. like tyler was definitely instigating and, personally, if someone were being that much of a jackass while I was trying to do my job-which, unfortunately, that is brent rivera’s job-I’d probably react way more poorly than he did. unfortunately it seems like youtuberbrain caught up with him and he def started acting out of pocket after that
@@d4red3v1l8 okay so if you watch the og clip she comes up and like yells at them and says that if they were normal people nobody would care that they were there lmao
It is so crazy to me, how Brent tries so hard to make people forget about this situation. Even though his fans are kids, and the people who care about the situation are probably teenagers. Like does he generally believe that his fans are teens, and this is gonna be a huge loss for him
Doubt. This isn't that big of a deal and his fans that already like him certainly wouldn't believe he's at fault. Not like he's the only asshole in the situation either so they'll probably just use that excuse to deflect any blame from him.
i doubt this would really affect him that negatively, as people who are already fans of him will likely excuse anything he does wrong, as fans of that type of youtuber usually do. Tbh, once you're famous enough on youtube, it takes A LOT for you to lose any of that social clout. once this gets boring in a month people will forget 🤷🏽♂
it is situations like this that make me realize I could NEVER be an influencer because if any of that happened to me I would have immediately burst into tears.
