He also listed a Japanese/Italian Black Metal band called Anguis Dei which is also a interesting band.

Thank god somebody else brought up “Castlevania-core”, Zemeth is definitely Castlevania-core, especially the songs “Midnight Defloration”, “Blood Frozen Cosmetics” and just the whole vampire aesthetic that the Zemeth albums have, I’m definitely looking forward to the fourth album that’s supposed to come out this year.

I imagine it was intentional mentioning the Colony album specifically, because it was DBZ: Budokai 3 or something like that, with planet namek I believe, that is almost note for note and in the same key Man Made God on the Colony album. That and the Japanese video game composers in the 90s definitely loved the power rangers theme too.

He did recognize your channel name prior to the question too, the absolute madman is making some waves, you love to see it. Moderate praise, but the respect was there. Shortly after talking about you, BJ-Dawg even brought up the iconic j*zz-guzzling c*mbucket bimbo look. While BJ-Dawg delivers on the lowbrow jest & memes, the real ones know who's superior when it comes to metal coverage. On the subject matter, can't front, I'm completely in the dark when it comes Junya, but both your description & the audio samples makes it sound oddly intriguing in the riff department. Will give said nostalgic melodeath bands a shøt as quickly as the schedule would allow it (pesky responsibilities & shieet). Not too much 'unknown' deep cuts from my end at the moment, just in dire need of riff-induced invigoration through Manilla Road, Mercyful Fate, Candlemass, Dark Quarterer, Adramelch, Fates Warning & Bathory these days (plus Alf the Gates, Hardangervidda & Jeremy Soule's TESIII-IV-V OSTs). Maybe they're a bit too popular for the show, but they're probably in my top 3 thrash bands of all time, and I always find myself revisiting their music year after year. Great work as always!
