I got fucking scared, jesus fucking christ. In the middle of fucking class, first video I clip and this fucking sound made it look like I was without headphones.
But every hotel they go to Steve and Ricky get beautiful rooms and they tell Karl he got the last room and it turns out to be in the basement next to the boiler
This is what it sounds like when there's loads of noise and you remove it in post, but remove too much that it makes everything sound like it's in a fishbowl, so it would either be this or loads of noise.
Karl, Ricky, and Steve are my new heroes of Comedy!!! I LOVE these three and I watch at least one or two of Karl's Diary every day...also caught Stephen Merchant's stand up routine: HELLO LADIES" and I laughed so hard my family almost pulled a Chapter 51 me!! You three are absolutely fantastic and thank you for making us laugh!!!
Oh man, I just discovered, or rather started clicking the Karl links a few days ago. Since then, I've downloaded and watched every episode of An Idiot Abroad, on my 20th RU-vid video or so, and when eyes are needed elsewhere - XFM radio. I am addicted laugh out loud comedy and there's been a severe drought, Karl has been a monsoon of joy for me. Thank You Karl, you shit.
Im such a Karl glazer fr, he’s a gift and genuinely nice bloke💯💯I’m so glad these 3 crossed paths, whenever I’m down I know it calls for an idiot abroad, the office, the RSK podcasts, just not Ricky’s recent standups😮 the podcasts were recorded 20 years ago but are so ahead of their time, absolute gold. Karl.is.the.GOAT.
I watched the first season of "big brother" years ago and then got bored with it, if they put karl in a season of "celebrity big brother" I would be glued to the tv for sure.
Interviewer - "What was the one thing you didn't pack but wished you had?" Karl - "Happy Face biscuits." Interviewer - "Why didn't you pack them?" Karl - "The thought of having a smug smiley face at me when I'm at my lowest points in my life. Have you seen them? They're like Jammie Dodgers but sort of tastier and less crumbly, but they've cut a little happy face in it."
What I found strange is that at 2:20 he spoke about being a prepared person. But on another interview said that he doesn’t like the hassle of being prepared
This was a crazy show designed to put Karl in embarrassing and uncomfortable situations. It’s been too many years since I saw it, but I remember at the first destination, before Karl caught on that they were purposely putting him up at horrible places, he asked the producer with him if Ricky and Steve knew how bad the hotel was? 😂
