Question, (PLEASE NO SPOILERS), after this video is there really only three parts left? There's so many people and loose ends, and the gang feels like they've barely gotten started. It doesn't feel intuitive that the ending is so close.

I bought the book! I read along now as the author reads aloud. I don't read ahead, as he does the voices which adds enormously to the experience. Fantastic book and a fabulous reading. I love it!
For the 1st time I've already read this entire section in advance. Still giving the routine listen for algorithms sake. This story is coming together quite nicely. The somewhat relaxed cliffhanger has me content with waiting for next week's read. Please don't keep us waiting too long for book 2. That's the main reason I haven't rushed ahead to finish the book. I'm sure it's gonna end on a literary masterpiece level cliffhanger. This has easily been one of the most meaningful YT channels I've come across in my life. Top 3 for sure! Darkmatter the GOAT!
I bought and finished the book last week. It hasn't diminished my enjoyment of these audio sessions at all. The story is so well thought out, that foreknowledge creates an enjoyment of certain details, even in this session, from a new perspective. There has been some foreshadowing of seemingly diametrically opposed events that I couldn't reconcile. Until it is revealed they are not opposed at all. That's for later chapters, so I won't spoil it. You won't be doing yourself a disservice if you finish the book. 😊

Last week I couldn't take the wait. I bought the Kindle book and immediately devoured it. That has not diminished my enjoyment of these videos at all. Can't wait for book two to come available.
Just purchased the paperback version. I haven't read much fiction in a while, but this is a captivating tale which is even more so when read by a great orator DarkMatter.
In a previous video I did say that, with monster wolf people, this setting reminded me of Berserk. Imagine my reaction when non other than Prince Guts shows up and devastates poor soldiers left and right. I like it a lot and I'll definitely see how this first part of the story concludes!
The series is a bit hard to get into but it quickly grows on you. If this is only book one then I can't imagine how crazy the story will turn by book three.
My new theory is that the boys don't recognize Merriweather because the enchantment Madame Rook used to alter her appearance affected more than just her hair color. This part left me wondering what Lucus 2.0 is up to. Lucus 1.0 is hanging out with all his friends and getting kissed by the girl of his dreams, which I would think would be a little hard even if he gets to experience it vicariously.
Oh well R.I.P. Merry Weather post school reunification. Princess Vionette = = Pinrcess Peach? Fight me! Although Justin was written as an antagonist this chapter, I actually started to find his roguesness more endearing, and I do not miss Merry Weather anymore. Big cloaked great sword wielding maniac enters the story and turns out to be Vionette's long lost older brother? Thank you!! You wrote these elements into the story because you love me, and I love you to.

This is an utter nightmare! 🤣 I was ready to give it a chance after the first part and have been waiting patiently for the story to become better at some point but now I am finally ready to say: This book is... it is bad. Really bad. The writing is like that of a teenager's first attempt in creative writing, the characters are total cliches, the story is predictable and boring but by far the worst, the absolute worst of it all are the female characters, gender stereotypes and the interaction between genders. I feel as if I were transferred to the 90ies. But even then the stories were more progressive with gender roles. What the hell is going on here? This is not really written by you, DM, is it? I can't believe it, really... Please... someone tell me that this will get better at some point.

Some RU-vid Atheist I think it was Dark matter , about 1.5 years ago asked a question How can someone enjoy heaven knowing there are people suffering in hell. I've come to the conclusion the reward(s) in/of heaven is equal to the agony of hell under the pretense of revenge disguised as love. @darkmatter2525
