Hej! Tack för mycket bra och tydliga filmer, när tror du att videon på dom bakre bromsarna kommer, jag vill nämligen göra samma sak på min innan våren är här 👍 Med vänlig hälsning! /Per
Copper pasta is to lubricate the brake pads so they dont get stuck, beside to prevent the vibrations. . Copper grease because it can take very high temperatures before it melts. Regular grease have much lower melting point.
Hi terje, do you use primer paint before silverpaint on callipers? Nice video, thanks for that, yes indeed i m lacking one specific techbook of the 8 valve models.....but i try to extrapolate yr videos, and the info of my both books....ill try some things out, as you showed, thanks lot!
No, I did not use any primer on this, and maybe I should. If you do, make sure to use heat resistant primer... Actually the 8v Bentley manual cover the front brake system in the pre 1988 cars..
@@TerjeNormann thanks, do u also use the bentley guide? I love it much more than my haynes....i guess yr heat resistance is probably like hamerite, primer and finish in one,...dont see much primers heatresistance....not that im aware off....i used black matt they use for stoves, also there is metallic version....great job Terje! Bob Belgium, thanks for answering my question!
@@TerjeNormann u really show everything in the manual, that so comprehensive, u do a great job, furthermore a lot of us do not really all own manuals....love to see how very methodically you show steps, indeed small details are always important, for example the small wooden block install between chassis, when working on shocks....if we should forget this small step, it would be probably give too much tension while working on shocks, i guess, makeing the job more difficult\ impossible?.....you are gold my friend, and saabs are as well, they deserve to stay on the road, what u think? Im always a very happy man, entering my saab cockpit...nobody seems to understand...but i dont mind.....only the few of us who really appreciate and understand saab, kind of are a rare breed....90% of people ride modern greyshades cars without personality....old saab and volvo have that ALot, where saab has that touch of luxus, without claiming it....it is modest , but what a seats, they keep like new....im so very very lucky to have the honour to work on my exceptional saabs....no power steering, no airco, just standard quality! A man deserves a saab, and a saab deserves some people that take care of them....i honour u, and thank u 1000 times....im trying to find yr video about bleeding brakes....i use bottle in there deep tube under level of brakefluid, and i bleed alone...no air can go back by submurging the tube...is that one correct way Terje?
@@bobdelaplage690 I havent drop the bleading video yet. Not yet finish. My car have ABS brakes on the front wheels, so the bleading on my front wheels is done different then on non ABS cars. My rear wheels is bleaded as normal.
