Lack of discipline and attention. Every coach teaches everyone to keep the head on the game every time you're in field cause if you don't, be prepared to lose every single time.

Bro had 1 job. I played baseball for over 15 years and I've never not touched home plate or had a teammate not touch home plate. His teammate coming up to bat didn't even say anything or probably wasn't paying attention, I'll never understand this ever!

IMO he clearly bumped the plate. You see it alter his foot. Replay can't show the bottom cleat making contact with the side of the plate. Looks like a line of dirt in between, which is the space created by the protruding cleat (the spikes on the underside).

This is why baseball remains the gayest sport in America. Realistically speaking, you shouldn’t even have to do a home run trot. Should be able to just go back to the dugout. Imagine scoring a TD in football and having to run around the field touching four spots on the field for it to count

I made this call one time as a little league umpire one time. Always made sure those kids touched home plate or i called them out 😂 Believe it happened 2-3 times in my adolescent career
