Genesis VII how many challenges? I was hoping for a system like rare replay. But of I'm right and it's only 20 challenges that's poor. They should have 1 or multiple chalenges per game

Day one purchase for me even though I have Sonic Genesis collection. But I'm a stickler for anything retro. Especially Sega Genesis and super Nintendo as those were my first consoles. Also getting Street fighter collection on retro Tuesday!!!

I think Sonic 3 and Sonic and Knuckles, are going to be at some point DLC. All the Sonic games are on Sonic mega collection plus for the PS2, and parts of those games are on Sonic Mania plus for the PS4. I can't think of any other reason they would be left out.

Loved this review, but the steam version does have Sonic 3 & Knuckles. Seems it may have More than this too. I could be wrong, but seriously great video. Keep it up...

Yeah it seems to be the main problem that people have, though looking at the price of 50 plus games compared to how much they are on the steam store, the price is pretty awesome.

Would have loved Sonic 3, Sonic and Knuckles, The lion King, Jurassic Park, Ecco the dolphin, Mortal Kombat and Ballz, to be included but it still has some great games including Golden Axe 1-3, Streets of Rage 1-3 and Sonic 1 and 2.

Can anyone help? Bought the Xbox One Mega Drive Classics and no matter what game I select it just seems to play automatically and my controller does nothing in-game? I’m basically watching a video of the game being played? Any ideas what’s wrong? Complete technophobe here! Would be really grateful if any help!

PLEASE MAN! HELP ME WITH THIS: I just bought this collection and I love it, but I can't custumize my own control layout and there is no turbo mode unlike the previous collections. Do you know what I should do so SEGA could fix this? Optional suggestion: We should ask SEGA to release more dlc games: Like more Sonic games, Dolphin games, Hang On, ect. Or even more arcade games like Revenge of Death Adder or After Burner just like their previous collections. P.S: I know that you are not the one that I should be speaking about this. I just want some help, please.

I'm asking for that game for Christmas. As guy that once grew up playing NES and SNES I would love to experience more Genesis games. I only have Genesis system later with only few games from my brother's friend, along with Sega CD and 32x with those games as well. I finally get to try some games that I couldn't get like Golden Axe, Beyond Oasis (I tried awhile ago and had fun but couldn't find the game because I couldn't remembered it) and Phantasy Star II, III and IV.

Retail's at £24.99 here. So I'm guessing around the $32 - $35 mark in the US

I didn't know about the psn description of possible dlc. That gives me hope that we could possibly get Sonic 3 & Knuckles. I heard it was a music rights issue, which is lame. I rather they just replace the music. I love it but i'd rather play a neutered game than none at all. lol

that would be down to licensing issue's, Sega doesn't own the Terminator/ Aladdin etc IP's, so they would need to get a new deal which even if they did wouldn't be worth the cost.

Great collection, but for me personally, I can't justify spending $30 for 53 Genesis games, when I have a perfectly working emulator on my Xbox One that can play every Genesis game. I want to support Sega with this, and I'd love to have this on my Xbox, but I don't have extra money lying around to buy a collection of games that I can already play. (On top of that, I already own the backwards compatible Sega Vintage Golden Axe and SoR sets, as well as Sonic 1, 2, 3, and CD, along with the &Knuckles addon that I bought years ago.) Nice review. I think you forgot to mention the TV View mode where you get the tv border? Still good though.

Nowhere near enough classic shmups on this.Where is ThunderForce 2 and 3 or games like Zero Wing,Hellfire,Gaires,Gynoug and AeroBlasters?Also its shocking that there is no Strider which was one of the megadrives best arcade conversions.

Did they intentionally remove sonic and knuckles and 3, the ps3 and 360 version had it. Dumb or smart move, hey guys, lets remove those two games and sell thrm separately online, profit
