Seiko SBDC063 vs SKX007 specs don't always tell the truth

Hey this is a updated video since my last one was kind of jittery. I am comparing two great watches that I think are worth the cost. But the specs on them don't always tell the truth. They both were great, but I think the sbdc063 feels the best on the wrist.

I just ordered the SBDC063 from Japan…spec sheet stated crystal was sapphire, not Hardlex… Thanks for the review!

My wrist is only 6 3/4 but I can wear the 063 absolutely fine, no problem at all. I use it on a Miltat bracelet, just great.

I have the SBDC061 (black bezel insert and SS bracelet), and I absolutely love the watch. But I was under the impression that it had a sapphire crystal, feels and sounds like it too.

I’m one of the few that has to follow specs because of my wrist size. The top of my wrist is like 47mm

Absolutely. I know some guys with a 6.5 inch wrist that can pull it off. It is a great wearing watch.

I have the sbdc033 or Blumo and I love that watch . I’m sure the 063 would be awesome as well 👍🏻

Believe it or not on the wrist the Sumo wears wider for me than the 063. Pretty crazy huh? Sweet watch

I love my Seiko SBDC051, which has sapphire crystal (not hardlex).

I have always thought the 007 wears a bit odd. I think it's the short lug to lug combined with the relative thickness of the case. I have an SBDC061 arriving tomorrow and I cant wait !!

"Too big" vs "wears better" are two different things. Yes it might wear better because of the reason you pointed out. But it will still look big because the over all case is bigger and the lug span is wider. Oh, measuring the case back does not have anything to do with why it looks big on the wrist!

You are right they are two different things. The SBDC063 does not look bigger than the SKX in person. If anything the case looks the same width just longer lugs. Measuring the caseback has to do with the how much rel-estate it takes up on the wrist. Thanks for the feedback.
