I almost cried when you just dictated the email. My own sister gave birth to her children after so many treatments. She got them after 7 years of her marriage. She spent LOADS on treatments and yet did not fall pregnant. After 7 years of her marriage, she finally got the kids. She does so much for her kids because she knows all the pain she went through just to have a baby. I have a few aunts as well who are married literslly since 20 years, TWENTY YEARS and still do not have a single child. They cry every each night just for a baby, they do so many treatments and are still without a child. I know SO MANY women who are infertile, having issues falling pregnant no matter if they were rich or poor. Just imagine, having a baby and that child calls you "mama" when they grow up. The best word you could ever hear. I have a relative who was very poor until he got his 1st daughter. And as he kept getting children, Sub han Allah his business just grew up so fast. Today, he is literally the richest among our community Ma shaa Allah. Babies do not come alone, they come with so much blessings. I have seen many screwed up people changing and becoming so responsible just because of getting children. Children for a very good reason always. Trust me, children are nothing front of the currencies. You cannot buy a human who will call you mommy from their heart. Your child will call you momma from the bottom of his heart.
Please please please report that email address to the police and the sex trafficking team. I hope you already have and I hope this woman makes the right choice. Sometimes unplanned things happen but their is adoption. I am sure a loving family would gladly look after the child

I couldn't agree more! Even though I'm not Muslim myself, I still find their advice to be very helpful and relatable. And it's very educational as a non-Muslim to hear what issues young Muslims are facing. Here is my advice, first of all do not sell it! That will make you feel bad. Here is options abortion and adoption / fostering. The latter is the best as you know the child will have a good life. Also see if you entitled to any benefits like child support.
I don't think they would feel bad honestly. When you have two kids, and you consider selling the third one, that shows that you don't love them and that the third one won't be missed. Parents rather starve themselves to feed their kids, in this email, the woman wasn't at all talking about the baby's happiness, she was just complaining about how they don't have money and how they didn't want kids (even if they dont use protection), as if they regret the two they already have. If they love their children they would have considered adoption, not money.

W Learner because i think they are mental to even think of selling their kid as an option. If you were in that position you would not resolve to selling your kid you would defo put them in for adoption.
that is the black market in my knowledge adoption is very difficult. Same have waited years to be accepted if you give your child for adoption you don't get money

The worst part is that you don't know what kind of person would take that child, what if they're buying the kid for sex trafficking, and other horrible things. That's sad. The baby wouldn't have a better life than staying with its mom and dad.
If you can't afford a baby then I suggest adoption. Don't just sell your child to a random person. Put them up for either a closed or open adoption. That baby will have a chance at a good life.
this is an equivalent of not reporting a person who asks if s/he's gonna kill a person or not. you don't wait things to happen: you report parents to the social service immediately or smth. they obviously cannot raise the child and it is very likely that the kid may end up used for the prostitution, drug and that sort of stuff that brings much more profit than 100 000 of whatever.

If you have 2 unplanned babies and get pregnant again- sorry, you're doing something wrong bruv. If you don't want children, be smart about it & take the precautions so that it doesn't happen OR grow up and deal with the consequences. You owe it to this child to be their parent.
what makes someone consider selling their child? i have 3 children it isnt easy but we are managing alhamdulillah. All of them have there own wonderful qualities and annoying habits etc. when someone praises them or shows them affection and i see their interaction it just fills me with joy. makes me feel proud. when they show me affection makes me emotional too. Children are special and deserve to be loved. x

First of all elevators/lifts are extremely awkward places how are you even talking to someone for that long about something so personal😕 And life never really throws things at you that you can't handle. If you're still adamant that you can't afford the child there are thousands of couples out there that haven't received your blessing and would love to be parents, adoption should be an option.

I think this is ridiculous. How can someone even think about this..? I don't mean to attack the person who emailed this but I find it completely unfair that people are dying to have kids and would provide them a wonderful home but then theres people like this who don't understand what a huge blessing children can be. You can give a baby up for adoption to a reputable agency if you really feel you can't take care of them. There are people who can't get pregnant who would love to have the blessing of a child and the good agencies are supposed to be careful who they adopt to.

I was the last child in a sibling bunch of 4. Of course I was unplanned and my parents weren't rich when they had me! But they worked their butt off to give me a healthy child hood and STILL to this day they would work hours and hours each day to give me everything that me and my siblings need.

We where immigrants waiting for asylum and we hade sold everything we owned not knowing if the future would be grate. My mom gets pregnant with my younger sister ( we were already 4 children) and the doctor also tells her that she might have som complications the child but alhamdullilah everything went well God will help those in need like our situation was not easy especially in a country where u know no one
Every family goes through hardships, my mum had 5 children we all ended up from a house to a refuge but allahmdulliah after going through 3 month of living in a room and sharing a bathroom to living in a 4 bedhouse with all of us working. Everything happens for a reason, but allah swt will always provide for u & get u thru hardships
