I know people talk about Randy Moss but Sterling was better than all of them. Even in his first 7 season his number was better than Rice. Remind me of Barry sanders and how E. Smith pass him in yards due to longevity.

Unfortunate injury, definitely a Hall of famer. It should not to be if your season was cut short , you should be penalized. Seven years is long enough to see a players work.

The Packers surprisingly were lighting up everybody, especially my home team Bears. Robert Brooks, Antonio Freeman, Don Beebe, and Mark Chmura. Sterling was different different, they couldn’t cover him.

The love for a brother is unmatched. My father passed away recently due to hypertension. For ten years, his blood pressure was almost uncontrollable. Because for ten years he dealt with his brother's untimely passing. He never got over it, and in the end I have no doubt that it was the grief of losing his brother that played the biggest role in his health issues. I miss and love you so much Dad.

Sterling Sharpe is a great what if story; looking at his numbers he was clearly one of the league’s top receivers and consider this also: he retired as a Packer in 1994, one year before Brett Favre began his run of three consecutive MVPs, it’s scary to think about how much better they could’ve been!

The GOAT blocking reciever and it isnt close. Sterling was the toughest receiver to ever play. Shoit in the final 4 games after his injury he had 3 tds against the bucs and 4 tds in the playoffs WITH an injured neck! That's tough bro

I watched Sterling when he played at South Carolina. I used to hoop with him in the gym. He didn't start until his junior season. He was probably the best offensive athlete to play at the school even moreso than former Heisman great George Rogers

Absolutely accurate point. 1994, The end of the Sterling Sharpe era, the ascension of Shannon Sharpe’s dominance all in the same offensive philosophy. The two teams meeting in Super Bowl XXXII, 1998. It's too bad what happened to him. He was right in the middle of his prime and showed no signs of slowing down whatsoever. Very possible GB would've won another superbowl too had Sterling not sustained that injury. Dude was a straight beast.
