Shhh... Don't respond to the guy above me, he's what we call a troll looking for attention. Edit: looks like the comment was deleted, dude above me is chill
@Tripleblade 82 I know. I just find it insane that one can invent a moment that didn't or couldn't happen. Who does that? Oh and don't get me started on the rumors of Kobe's open casket. Really? 🤦🏾♀️
Yeah if's don't matter now. The only good thing from this nightmare is people will probably be more careful, say when you are driving one of these canyon roads with a lot of fog night/morning that can come in like a blanket. Pull off the side and wait maybe 10 or 15 minutes it could save your life.
@@lightttt5146 you keep commenting about him being a rapist. Check your facts idiot. How can you live with yourself? How can you degrade this man's beautiful legacy that he earned? So what, something happened back in like 2003. That was a looong time ago. It's irrelevant, especially since the things you just mentioned are incorrect. The sex was consensual, enough said.
The thing about Kobe is that he gave most of his wealth away to homeless charities- I know this because I escaped homelessness due to his personal intervention. Now I'm a useful member of society- clean, married, paying taxes, the whole bit. Without him I'd probably be dead. THAT is a mark of true success in life.... RIP Buddy.
Thank you for sharing that! Stories like that are what life is all about. Glad to hear you turned yourself around and are doing great. Each man's life touches so many other man's lives. When that person isn’t around anymore it leaves an awful hole. RIP Kobe.
Stories like yours should have been the focus the day Kobe died but these journalists thought that it was appropriate to resurrect allegations from 17 years ago.
@@chrisleearies484 Which means that whether you like it or not, you see this guy and you will subconsciously think of him as tough, big beasts like him don't cry. You know about the incident, 9 people dead.. And this huge tough beast.. he is crying. It sends a clear signal that this is a big deal. Because you know some girls can literally cry the same way, over a broken nail, so they send mixed signals. Like when is something like really wrong? Genuine tears? I don't know, so when a girl cry, I'm not really feeling it. But when I see Shaq (he is so big, he could step on me like I was a medium sized dog) cry, I know, this is serious.
Miguel Mendez they had a strange relationship. They were bros, but then Kobe snitched on Shaq and then they disliked each other, they then reunited, but haven’t talked in 4 years, but we’re always in touch and his sons were in touch with Kobe. RIP Kobe💔
@@42ZEROLicksMyBalls Im sure he will try not to forget, however people grieve most for who they felt the closest to. I place much more importance on the death of my grandpa than I do of Kobe, yet I feel more sadness about Kobe's death and his daughter than I do the others. I would like to note, however, I still feel sadness for them too.
The best advice. It's why it's not worth holding grudges with those close to you. Because God forbid, something happens. You'll feel regret and guilt for never squashing it.
Why flying into the foggy weather stupid man???? Perhaps death time ... BUT he was rich man and his own helicopter had... other people earned ,$7.25 per 1 hour... all day 5 hour worked. Almost American homeless
Andrew Powell I know from experience. When I lost my grandma and uncle around the same time then other family members I really thought to myself what is going on 🤯 Then as months and weeks went by the grief settled in .
This broke me. 😭 I’m glad Shaq spoke about his friend and his grief of his dealing with the death of his sister. We see these big men and never see the emotional side of them. It’s ok to cry, doesn’t make you soft. It makes you human like the rest of us. Thank you Shaq for telling us your story and I’m praying for you.
Yeah that whole men can't cry you're soft stuff is bullshit, if you've got a bond with someone nothing hurts quite like it. It truly if Earth shattering and that goes right through your core. I question people who don't cry when they lose loved ones, I know everyone expresses themselves different but when I see someone who even around friends can't open up I really worry.
Ben Sends Sucks man. People should be able to express their feelings without being judged. I recall Draymond Green making fun of a basketball player for crying on TV, now he doesn’t want to talk about Kobe, he is running away from his feelings because he thinks they are a sign of weakness . It takes balls to show your feelings in this retarded world where feelings are assigned to a weakness or not being man enough. Props to shaq for not being one of the people who run away from their feelings. You a true one shaq. Rest in peace to the legend.
“We’re not going to be able to say I got 5 you got 4. We’re not going to be able to say we would’ve won 10 if we stayed together.” 😔 Shaq & Kobe = Best duo of all time
Can't believe it's been two years today. I think of Kobe a lot and it's weird missing someone i've never met or knew personally. This is the kinda impact Kobe has had on people. Can't think of what Shaq and the people that did know him have been going through. R.I.P. to everyone involved in the crash. Wish that helicopter ride never happened.
It honestly doesnt even feel that long ago, I remember that day clearly man. It is hard to believe he is gone and that 2020 happened 2 years ago... life really is weird sometimes.
Seeing Shaq break down is so heartbreaking. The friendsship these guys had was on another level. Major respect to Shaq and may Kobe and Gianna rest in paradise.
Greg A well you clearly don’t know the Lakers’ history. It’s people like you that ruin these kinds of moments. So shut your mouth and leave this video.
Can we also include the other people on the flight one of the girls happened to be gianna’s teammate who had massive potential may god bless their souls too ❤️❤️
@@harmonygilder6192 they were like brothers, brothers fight, you can go for a few weeks, months, even years sometimes without saying hi to them, but when it comes down to it, you know in your heart you care for one another. Sure they may not have hung out a ton off the court, but they were, and always will be, brothers.
@Greg A how do you think they are shaqs son is friends with kobe. Plz dont argue this he is clearly heartbroken they had a strong relationship. They talked in a interview together also
My pastor when I was young use to always say dead noses don’t smell roses.. I want my flowers now. We have to go back to picking up the phone and calling people and not just texting.
@@ybst-y6691 i cant believe i actually read all that, he had me going till he started talking bout flat earth and youtube channels..get off the internet knox and go get laid big guy you'll calm down quick
Crying for a man who made MILLIONS with his BALL HANDLING SKILLS, while you and your family struggle and try to make rent. How can you cry for someone that never gave a fuk about you?
1776 this man has not made money because of his ball handling skills. This man had a heart of gold and constantly put a smile on other peoples faces. Kobe Bryant was a legend and will continue to be for eternity. May he rest in peace, along with his beautiful daughter that was taken too soon. Please be respectful, there are many people hurting because of his death.
“If we could’ve stayed together we coulda had 10” shaq is hurting man. Asking for Gods strength for all the families and friends involved. RIP MAMBA RIP MAMBACITA
Shaq is under mind control Every since he became a Mason he's been under mind control baby go back and look at some of his videos he has not been the same he's boulet now he knew and he know what time it is I'm not saying that he don't feel nothing towards his friend but he knew what was coming contract Pharmaceuticals got a big play in this Kobe and pharmaceuticals was going at it do some research
A 7’0, 325 lb man just pouring his heart & eyes out for his loved ones. That’s a real man. Edit: nothing, his height/weight has nothing to do with anything👍
@@mrmontage729 That's fine. I sometimes hear about the death of other celebrities and don't care that much either, I'm sure you feel the same here. But for me, to know that my childhood icon and his daughter both died is just too devastating. Kobe's mamba mentality inspired me in all walks of life, I will never forget him.
All these kobe vids have more unity than anything I’ve seen before....goes to show how much he truly impacted the world. We’ve lost a great father, husband, and role model. But I believe in what kobe stood for and his legacy will live on for eternity
I know how that feels... To loose someone so tragically. You loose a piece of yourself. And when someone takes something from you out of anger.. The pain .. Loss is painful.. Death is something that got different. It's awful. A lesson that no one wants ..
Watching this has made me have a new profound respect for a man like Shaq. Thank you Shaq for showing your human side and may you continue to be blessed.
Shaq is lucky for having made amends with Kobe before his passing. Many adversaries carry unnecessary grudges to their grave. Glad those 2 legends got to build a solid friendship.
@@theracingguyhopeyouenjoy2708 same my brother showed me the article tmz had posted on Facebook I said it's fake there's no way I turned on fox news there it was and it felt like someone kicked me in the stomach I haven't felt that feeling since my mom and grandfather died a month apart I grew up watching him and I still can't believe it
@@octopus8420 JUST his step dad??? Let me tell you something. Step parents still don't get the honor and respect they deserve when they take it upon themselves to accept and love and properly RAISE a child who was not born to them biologically!!!! It IS a big deal!!!
He must feel like god is punishing him...i know dat feeling. At this moment none of the fame & material things matter, you just feel empty. I hope he doesn't kill himself
Just letting y’all know that there’s probably gonna be a troll that says shit about Kobe somewhere bellow my comment. PLS just ignore them if they show up, don’t feed into them. They just want attention and are jealous that when they die they won’t be remembered or mourned. Sorry if I seem harsh but I’m just sayin the truth...
I have always admired how genuine Shaq is. He’s always himself. He laughs. He enjoys life. This brought me to tears. This loss is so profound to so many, and it breaks my heart to see.
I as a 32 year old former high school star and d3college player and i am absolutely devastated to see everyone like that.....and i loved jordan but this is rough
I still dont want to believe it. I feel like it still hasnt hit me. I want to believe so much thats its fake that i almost feel like im in denial. This is the first video and or instance since, that made me cry. Many people just dont get it man... they just dont.
Shaq has always been one of my favorite people and what he says about Kobe speaks volumes about who he is as a person. These things happen to all of us, the thing to remember is life is short and there are no second chances. Live life to the fullest and Love ❤️ all of your friends and family as much as you can while you can because any moment somebody you love and care about might not be there tomorrow.
One of the most honest heartfelt reactions to anyone's passing I've ever witnessed. Two dynamic players that defined an entire generation of basketball. They both inspired so many and touched so many in their lives. They had their differences yes but they put that behind them because the legacy outweighed the beef and the respect was always paramount with both men. There will never be another Kobe Bryant the same way there'll never be another Shaquille O'Neal. And I'm blessed to have lived during both their lifetimes and witnessed their greatness. Long live the Mamba.❤️
They may have hated each other on the court, but they have love for each other. Shaq couldnt even sleep before kobe died, imagine whats going on with him now.
yk it’s insane. in my head it’s so weird to see this seemingly invincible beast of a man break down over the loss of Kobe. And it hits me deep in my heart to see him go through this. RIP
Watching this makes me wanna reach out to all those friends and family members I don’t make enough time for these days and tell them I love them. I’m honestly so touched by Shaq’s words, yet so heartbroken to see him like this. RIP to a man that shook the game up and inspired us to strive for better, and RIP to his lovely daughter who’s life was stripped from her far too soon. Y’all will be forever immortalized. 💛 💜 🕊
Despite their beef the media made a huge deal of, they were like brothers. Just like he said, some folks might think Shaq and Charles hate eachother, but it's the exact opposite.
@@SteveFox369 well, because he is a LEGEND not only in basketball but outside of basketball...When you lost so many loveones and he still continue to goes strong emotionally and keep moving forward then you are a LEGEND on your way even without BASKETBALL... Some people couldn't be that strong emotionally like Shaq... Others given up on life when they suffer like what Shaq did
Holy Cow this is for real. Good job Shaw, props to you for being tough. Your strength makes the rest of the world grip together in the passing of this wonderful generation of top notch NBA basketball players. The amount of community service these figures give back to their youth programs is astounding and now we lost one of the gr8's God bless your soul and little G. Stay fresh and God speed you absolute angel from earth
Shaq and Kobe were like brothers. Great moments and bad moments. I will never forget their dominance together. R.I.P Kobe and all the others on the helicopter 🙏
@@brandonfromkc2815 Money doesn't take away pain.. Money doesn't bring somebody you love back. Before you make ignorant comments, think before you speak idiot.
@Cheryl Benthall Nice strawman of an argument-I'm talking about Shaq specifically not the rest of rich people. Yeah, money can give you the basic needs in order to be healthy and happy, but it can't solve EVERYTHING. Just like what @he he said, money can't bring back the dead, it can't give you real love, etc.
It’s been over a year now & I still go back to this. Shaq needs his flowers while he’s here man…he does so much for kids & his community, he’s been through so much growing up, his sister passing, losing Kobe, etc all that. One of the greatest of all time too…man this day always replays in my head I’ll always remember it. It was a very very sad day
Heartfelt words. Shaq certainly Kobe knew how much you meant for each other. But you have shown to be a real man, that has feelings, that opens up about things that would be done differently. Be in peace and love.
This has GOT to be the hardest interview ever. I can't imagine the pain he feels let alone Kobe's wife and children. I wish I could just hold Shaq's hand and hug him because this is real psychological trauma to have lost so many loved one is such a short period of time.😢☹😢☹🥺🥺
I'm so glad that Kobe and Shaq got it right again before Kobe passed away. I watched them play since Kobes first year and seen the incredible journey of them both. Crying stil after all these years 😢
The heartbreak in his voice. The way he's speaking like he was on autopilot, directly from his heart to his mouth broke me. I know that feeling. Keeping him and all 9 who passed in my prayers.
Chris Hira ok smartass, what I meant was that he isn’t breaking down & ugly crying, he’s keeping his cool but in his eyes you can tell how heartbroken he is. You can gtfo my comments lmao
Shaq's comments reminded me of when my grandparents passed and how I wish I could just at least tell them I love you one more time and reminds me that while my parents are still alive, I need to appreciate as much as possible the time I have with them now. Now, this moment, I'm calling my parents to tell them I love them right now. It's something we all should do since we will not always be able to do so.
God, 2020. I still tear up and still can't handle this footage of Kobe being gone. Such a loss! I became an NBA fan in 2008 when me and my uncle watched the Celtics and the Lakers in the finals. Kobe was a huge part of that. Miss u always mamba!! Gone too soon for sure. :-(
SUP HEY dude stfu you sound like one of those dumbasses in school who takes shit too seriously and starts crying when in the 1st place no one asked for your 2 cents
Seeing grown men, like these, sobbing their eyes out and pouring their hearts out, so passionately and raw is beautiful yet sad at the same time. Breaks my heart.
