I had a female divorce judge and she completely ignored the facts and logic of my UK divorce case, i.e. only 1 kid and my wife earns more. I am sorry to hear that, sir! That really stinks, and that wasnt MY experience when i got divorced even though it felt that way at the time. BUT, please consider one thing BEFORE you settle in your mind that it was ONLY the womans emotions that caused the judge to rule like that (although you were there, so you know better). Consider that this is an agenda. It is the governments position to redistribute wealth from the more productive group to the less productive group. Think of it as a form of 'reparations' for all they suffered under the patriarchy! (LMAO, i know silly, but they believe this). In the USA, the Duluth Model is generally what drives this redistribution, along with our Social Security laws. I am not sure which parts of law govern it in UK. But my sincere empathy to you. I trust you will recover in time, but no doubt it sucks tremendously and i feel bad for you!

About 25 years ago I dated a psychologist. She got her MA in psychology at the same school I got my MA in Criminology. She was a domestic violence specialist, working in a women's shelter and from everything I can tell, she was very good at her job. At the tail end of our relationship, I planned to spend an evening with my best friend who was in town. We went to the range, had a few beers, and generally had a good time. I stop by the psychologist's home to say hi and hang out a bit. She was very drunk and very angry. I asked her what was wrong, she said that I spend the evening with my best friend in stead of her. I reminded her that is exactly what I told her I would do. She screamed at me, "I didn't think you would do it." She then lunged at me, trying to choke me. Remember, folks, this was a licensed psychologist who specialized in treating victims of domestic assault. Truth is stranger than fiction.

@urhunn7778 - hard to say. I went no contact, mostly because I didn't want her to accuse me of anything. I never tried to find out what happened because once you burn a bridge, no sense in trying to rebuild it. I think she went into psychology because there was something terribly wrong with her that she wanted to fix. Perhaps you are right, but her the sake and the sake of other people, I hope you are wrong.

On the matter of men showing emotion: I used to deliver car parts to various shops and mechanics. One day, while waiting for the check, I overheard two women talking in the lobby. The younger one looked about 35. She was telling an older woman about the frustration and challenges of being divorced. At one point, the elder of the two asked why she had gotten divorced. The answer was beyond disgusting. "Oh, he's a good man. A great father. Strong. He's an ex Marine who followed in his dad's footsteps by joining the military. But he and his dad had falling out many years ago. At his dad's funeral, when his dad's Marine buddies came up, one at a time, giving his casket the silent, final salute, I looked over and John was crying. I lost all respect for him in that moment." And I, in that moment, lost all respect for that woman as a human being. No woman is worth you being dead inside. Especially just to comfort some emotion bullshit of hers that she herself can't control.

Cried in 2012 when my wonderful kind and generous auntie died suddenly. Did not cry again until last year, 2022 when depression made me suicidal, so ten years. Have cried a few times since but never In front of anyone. Learned a long time ago that girls will get sympathy and boys will get nothing but ridicule.

Reminds me of a discussion I had with my sisters. They viewed women as oppressed at the church/denomination we grew up with. I challenged their perspective with a verifiable example. They both conceded that my argument was correct, it was factually irrefutable, but all that did was make them extremely angry with me for disproving their delusion of victimhood.

My sister, who is super woke, once told me she knows she lives in an echo chamber, but she's happier that way. I don't bother arguing with her on anything. The few times I have she just shuts it down and refuses to participate. Usually people deny they live in an echo chamber because otherwise they are admitting to a bias and ignorance of other perspectives that reduces their credibility in a debate.

Here’s a short story of toxic emotions. My mother used to grow and sell weed with her husband. He didn’t build the house fast enough so she divorced him and took half the property even though she never contributed a dollar (apart from the weed. He still worked six days a week doing hard labour. About a year after the divorce she blew all her money, and he expanded his operation and was doing well for himself. She was so resentful of this that she called the police on him and put him in prison for three years. When I called her a hypocrite, her justification was he was getting greedy and growing way too many plants. I called her out on her BS and said ‘so it’s ok for a tomato farmer to have 20 plants, but if he has 100 he’s suddenly greedy and immoral? Yeah right’. She also misplaced her diamond ring and told everyone I had stolen it, even though I’ve never stolen anything in my life. Women!

That's a Bit extreme, We only saw a small part of the video and don't have enough information. The stepmother was yelling and wanted to break things and I would want her to get a Hotel and move out for a week to calm down but I want to see more videos for the dad to have a discussion with the stepmother to work out what the family can do to make conflict resolution happen.

It's important not to jump to extreme conclusions without having a complete understanding of the situation. I suggest that the stepmother take a break to calm down and advocate for a discussion between the dad and stepmother to find a resolution is a more balanced and empathetic perspective.

I understood this better after getting married. My wife is a wonderful woman, but she always lives in the moment and in the emotions of the moment. Explaining with an example: if she gets upset with me for any reason, she generalizes saying that I always upset her like that and totally forgets all the times I didn't. Like, I always take out the trash. But if I forget one day and she gets upset about that, she'll say I never take out the trash.

A friend of mine actually built his and his wife's matrimonial home, single handedly (and houses are built with big heavy limestone blocks here.) He installed all the apertures, tiles, drains, plumbing..you name it. He even built all the furniture himself since he's also a master carpenter. The only thing he admitted to not have done himself was the electrical system, since he's wary of electricity. What did his wife accuse him of during an argument? I understand their nature enough to not expect real change and learning, but surface level change helps to keep the nonsense in check for a time at least. It's not enough, particularly with laws as they are, to ever consider marriage/common law, but... Would love to see what would happen if all men state early at the first signs of 'negative' emotions "One more lie, attempt to control and manipulate, one more sh*t test, one more nag, illogical argument.. and I'm moving on!" Women may be more emotional, but I think they also use fabricated emotions to mask their desire to dominate the man. I think the woman trying to pick food off her date's plate was testing his boundaries seeing if he'll generally submit to her wishes or not. The woman breaking the things belonging to her step-daughter (?) was having a temper tantrum because her desire (to be in charge) was not granted. Besides, that daughter may choose to leave rather than have her belongings destroyed. To me, this explains most of women's selfish behavior, especially towards men.

When I see these videos, it makes me appreciate my wife. She’s truly a unicorn who is able to understand logic and reason. She started out a typical emotional product of the feminist education system, but I refused to put up with her temper tantrums. Over time, she got to learn that thinking things through and making decisions based on facts and figures rather than emotions resulted in better outcomes. Our marriage is a partnership; we’re complimentary not competitive. To be fair, she was never taught how to look at things logically and plan accordingly, but rather grew up in a household where emotions and short-term gratification were more important. Her upbringing was in a rather dysfunctional household to put it lightly. It took a few years, but she did break out of that cycle and transformed into the unicorn she is today. I’m one lucky guy.

I helped an ex with a work project (its in my field). Out of 60 people, they chose the top two, of which she was one. Our next fight she told me that I enjoyed "making her feel dumb". I asked her specifically what I had done to make her feel dumb and she had no answer. Months later she remembers as a young girl in school, her teacher was trying to explain something to her and the class was laughing and humiliating her. She traced her emotions back to that event. As "masters of emotion" - they are a confused bunch.

@@xybersurfer I told her that I have chosen her as my partner. Why on earth would I want to make my partner feel dumb? I simply wanted to add value to her life. I asked if she would prefer that I didn't help her anymore or helped her in a different way? She said no. I was sending her love but she was receiving humiliation. One of us has our wires crossed. I asked if punishing me for loving her was the outcome she intended? She said no. This is the issue with feelings. Often, they not real. Or should I say, not appropriate to the current situation. Emotions alone are useless, they have to be combined with logic. If you don't figure out what is triggering that and fix it, you will keep going into that loop. Trying to "logic" someone into feeling a different emotion is nearly impossible. You have to be gentle and let them figure it out. To her credit - she did. Most trust the emotion irrespective of how out of place it is.

If some women lose in argument in public they will breakdown in tears and yell at you, because she knows others will look at her as a victim and you as an asshole automatically. That's just how it goes. If a man is yelling at a woman, everyone thinks he's an asshole and she is a victim. I had a woman who continued arguing with me and screaming and yelling and would not stop until I finally lost my temper. It took 30 seconds for her to realize she screwed up by doing it. That was three years ago and I have never said another word to her in this whole time. I threw her out and made sure to explain that she would never be welcome again. She has tried apologizing, sending flowers and cards but that one time was all it took. She no longer exists in my world for any reason. I will never tolerate that behavior ever from anyone.

We're not un-emotional. We recognize them, feel them, deal with them in our own way, immediately realize they serve no purpose, and then move on with what we need to do and problem solve with a plan of action to remedy the situation. We just go through the process by ourselves in 10 seconds instead of dragging everyone else around us into our experience and making it take hours or days.

I realized after a few years of marriage to my ex that it was emotion driving the arguments. So I fixed it. I stopped arguing, and stopped emoting. Really pissed her off that she could no longer get me to argue with her. But the arguing did come to an end. Did not save the marriage though to many other problems that could not be fixed.

Great video up until the end. Hyperemotionality is not a marker of feminity. I don't want my future wife having a lot of female friends, because single female friends are a bad influence on their married friends. Having a lot of married friends is also a red flag because it drives jealousy. "Well, Jessica's husband does this for their family. Why can't you?" I just want to see that she has a great relationship with mom and sisters. A big plus if she's the older sister or if she's worked as a nanny, because she knows something about taking care of children.

It's all about feelings & emotions for women. Listen to them talk and you'll hear "feel", "felt", and "feeling" quite a bit. Logic-and-Reason.exe was never installed at the factory. Combine this with them having a care-based morality and you can see how communicating & interacting with them can be a challenge at times. They can justify their behavior because it felt good. Men have a Justice-based morality and value different things, thus we expect women to behave how we would in certain situations.

Care based morality is an oxymoron, morality is only based on justice otherwise we would all overnight lose our minds. That food one reminded me of my ex-wife. We were at the beach and we went to a cafe for lunch. I was very hungry and bought a meal. I offered to buy her ANYTHING on the menu. She said, "I'm not very hungry, I'll just have some of yours." I said, "I'm really hungry, I'll eat all my meal. I'll buy you your own meal." This is an excellent strategy for weak people to achieve more than they deserve. Women are the masters in this tradecraft. But all weak people will use it. This “weak-liar paradigm” is a general rule in human behavior. We are not able to change it. It is hardwired into our intrinsic behavior. It reminds me the actions of male criminals in jail. Their emotions at the time totally control them.

I just recently had a last straw moment and I'm being made to feel like I'm responsible for her inauthenticity because it wasn't safe for her to do so. i.e. I don't accept her as she is. Talk about a head trip. I'm so disappointed that none of my efforts and patience, have amounted to anything as far as I'm concerned. She's delusional and torturing herself needlessly; I can't do anything for her anymore.

I had a girl friend once who loved to share food also. Good food was a special and important thing for her. (not fat). So in her emotional logic, sharing food was reassuring, how important we were to each other, that we share such an important thing openly. And could share then also the taste sensation by talking about it first hand. Sharing food was an experience like cuddling with each other. 😄 So experience wise this can make sense depending on the persons involved.

I love that ribs and steak convo. May sound silly, but letting someone eat off your plate I consider a sign of deep connection, trust and commitment. It’s a sign you want to share something with someone you care about. That’s something you let a long term partner or spouse do. Someone insisting on it on a first date is hilarious to me. 😂

Stoicism has help me a lot when it comes to emotional stability and also how to handle my girlfriends emotions. I used to get frustrated with her but now I don't even care. I just calmly stick to my point and she usually has to apologize in the end 😆

I guessing (correctly) that you have never read anything at all about Stoicism, and are therefore using the word INCORRECTLY. As a Stoic, that drives me crazy. Stoicism has NOTHING to do with being emotionless. "Amor Fati" - love your fate, not refuse to care. Dope.

Food girl is pushing boundaries to see if she can control him, whether he has any boundaries. It's that, not emotions vs rationality. The rational thing for him to do is to get up and walk away.

I don't know where this girl was raised, but my younger brother outweighed me by a good thirty pounds. I guard my plate. It's my food. I've lived with a lady that had a daughter that felt free to pilfer off of my plate. I'm not longer with that lady because she did not understand that this was a boundary that I would NOT yield on. If you want what's on my plate, order it for yourself, do NOT feel free to stick YOUR fork on MY plate. That's a hard no.
