I have both. … not a lot of dirt bike riding when there is 2feet of snow on the ground

if it was just a addition yeah, but a lot of people that rode quads in particular dumped the quads for utvs.. ive even seen some say they "upgraded" despite the fact that besides four wheels, an engine and the brands that make them, utvs and quads arent much alike. they're totally different experiences. utvs hold a lot of beer though... which i dont care about. dirt bike riders are typically the most hardcore of all powersports disciplines, so of course they're more likely to ride them all, but would never get rid of their dirt bikes if they are still able to ride them. the sport quad market is hanging by a thread and the utility quad segment isnt exactly booming like it used to either since utvs became popular.

The sit down jet skis of the desert. Made it so dangerous for dirt bikes.
