Silent Hill 2 - The Greatest Horror Game That Shouldn't Work 

I can’t say that it isn’t worthy of criticism, but the backlash has been blown-out over proportion. Most criticism has been thrown at that one single frame, the other shots of her looked fine. Getting upset is fine, but getting angry over a different face is a bit unhealthy, especially when the execution on the characters story is far more important then her looks.

​@@Oronoto Maybe the backlash has been "blow-out of the proportion" because her design just flat-out sucks in the remake? I've seen people talk about her other frames and make points that her design is less detailed and compared to the original game. Also how are you just gonna say "getting upset is fine" but then go right ahead and state "but getting angry over a different face is unhealthy" So which is it? Is it fine for players to get mad or not?

@@shriderrad4123 theres a difference between being mad, upset and angry. It’s a balance. Being moderately upset because you don’t like the new design is one thing, but being angry about a characters design is a bit much. Again the execution on her story is far more important then her design, if they screw up that (which is an extreeeemely sensitive subject) then thats far more damaging on her and silent hill 2’s legacy.

@@Oronoto Being angry, upset, or mad are all interchangeable. You can claim someone is "mad" at a change or "angry" at a change but it doesn't matter since all three terms are all used to describe a negative emotion one feels about a certain situation or subject. If someone is angry or "upset" that devs messed up a design that's literally justified since the blueprint was already there to make her design. Angela's design is important, actually all the character's designs are important. Why do you think they got backlash for Maria's new design? Or better yet why do you think Blooper changed up James' design from the first announcement trailer? If they aren't going to bother to add in more detailing that a 20+ year old legacy game did. They honestly shouldn't have bothered then

I find it strange that people are getting mad over an SA victim not being attractive anymore. Like come on.
