Go turn a big rock over and see what bugs are living in the area, see what the fish are eating. Next time you catch a fish, when your gutting it, cut open it's tummy and see what it's living on, because that'll be the bait you need. Now in some states using garlic is illegal, because it's so stinky. My buddy and I had a large coffee full of fresh water clams. We'd freeze them and thaw them out and refreeze them and they got pretty nasty smelling but the fish loved them. And in turn, we loved the fish. LOL.

Please be very careful using food in jars when there is not a good seal and store the jars without the rings are you could have a false seal. You can get very sick from eating food that hasn't properly sealed.
