I may be hilariously incorrect, but after watching your videos, as well as other lorry/truck drivers go about their daily tasks, I've come to realize two things. 1) Without truckers civilized life for the rest of us would collapse, and 2) I suspect autonomous trucks probably would not be able to do what you do. Truck driving requires much more than just driving the truck. Truckers have a lot of adaptation and improvisation to do under a wide variety of unpredictable circumstances. You have fixed broken brake lights, air line leaks, performed equipment checks, sweeping out the body, unjamming stuck loads, talked to farmers, shippers, figured out where to park, adapt to GPS mistakes, poor directions, bad scheduling, driven on roads without markings, etc. I'm not sure autonomous trucks can do that. And why would we want them to anyways? Why replace solid professionals with an AI program? Thank you for your entertaining, informative and educational videos. You, and your fellow truckers are much appreciated!
Hi, I saw one of the Wains truck on M6, i guess that was one of your colleagues. Wains trucks are beautiful. I drive just Merc with baby engine 😁. Keep up the good work 💪
Just having a break at work in the soggy rain ☔ and watching you week whilst drinking tea and eating a hot cross bun. I don't know how you get down some of them villages! I'd have heart failure lol great video ohh and your meals always look fabulous x
Much respect from an retired heavy driver in Australia. I know it takes it out of you driving narrow roads with a full size truck. Take care from here in Oz.
Great watch as always Jemma , you never fail to amaze me in the way you just get the job done and keep it looking so easy and smooth , stay safe out there xxxxx
Nice one Jemma When I was on the harvest, my boss preferred broken weather because we would get just enough loads most days but if the weather was good all the yards would fill up and trucks would come from all over it would finish quickly but the broken weather stretched it out and kept us hauling
Best wishes to you Jemma and your family have a enjoyable and safe travels each day, love your Scania and Trailer a beauty and congratulations to your daughter on getting a new job in the weighbridge 👍👍👍👍 best wishes from Declan in Galway Ireland 👍👍🙏🙏
Brilliant informative videos . Narrow roads taken in your stride , bringing us along for the ride of truck view country side very relaxing to watch . Strange that they are relaxing to watch when it would be far from relaxing if I drove by car . You are an Ambassador to Wain's transport ! Keep up the excellent videos. Keep healthy, happy and happy trucking 🙂
Just found your channel and subbed. I am a biker and I have total respect for lorry drivers both for the serious job you all do but more importantly the way most truckers treat me as a biker. Their observations and courtesy is way better than car drivers in the main. I always wave and thank them when I pass. I am truly ensconced watching your channel. I didn’t realise how much was involved. Also you are a beautiful woman with fantastic communication skills. When you smile it gladdens my heart. You come across as so professional and likeable. I am sure you would do fantastically at tv or pr work. Nice to have something to binge watch other than biking
Nice video as ever Jemma 👍 The amount of juggling you have to do in a day and figuring out when to eat, your driving time, paperwork ect, makes the driving look like the easy bit to be honest 👍 I'm amazed that mill gets away with a two hour unloading time, maybe its just one of their intakes but if I took two hours to load a lorry then I doubt they'd be back again.
Hi Jemz, another relaxing video to start a Saturday. Well I have finally gone mad, every time someone lets you out or gives way I keep putting my hand up to say thank you 😂. My pet hate was drivers cutting into your safe space, like the 2 idiots did in the vid, but now I'm retired I don't have to worry about the idiots on the roads. Stay safe Jemz.
I know I've mentioned this earlier, but these little English villages are magnificent. Of course they are not ideal for a big truck like yours, because everything is tight and windy. I guess harvest will pick up in August and you'll have lots of work in the rest of the month. The Prince of Wales bridge is also a beautiful sight, I'm sure you like to cross it. Great vlog again Jemma, thanks a lot for the usual Saturday show. 🥰
Nice one Jemma. I saw your wagon parked up on the 39 as I passed by many times in my white coach. A lovely looking truck, the art work is fantastic. Really enjoying you vlogs.
Awesome video again Jemma thanks for letting us tag along. You never have a dull day your always busy, must be a nightmare for the farmers at the moment but with a heatwave on the way they and you could be busy hope you have a fantastic weekend take care and stay safe 👍 😊.
Another brilliant video, Jemma 😊💙 you're a great driver and you do a fantastic job 👍🏻 I love your vlogs, they're so interesting and entertaining. Yes it's a dilemma to fit in breaks and mealtimes depending on circumstances, but you handle it well. Aw it's ok about looking serious while reversing your truck, it just means you're concentrating. Mmm lasagne is so yummy and I believe you about your cooking. Have a nice well earned weekend, lovely gorgeous lady and have a good week ahead. Stay safe 🤗
Great viewing and informative too .. spotted you twice this week, Mon at 5 and friday at 5 .. crawling southbound at Cribbs in the holiday traffic, gotta love that M5 southbound 👍
.... love all the town, Villages and country lanes you take us through .. brilliant .... thx for the share .. as always .. never stop dreaming, just dream bigger .. have fun be safe, save our oceans ....
Morning Jemma, great video, so tough for agriculture at the minute, you had some testing spots to deal with but managed admirably, no prob to you, very Barbie like in this one😂 Take care x
Hi Jemma. Your videos are fab. Love the way you show an insight on how your day goes. I am. Big fan of yours. I do see you aboit and flash my lights in my little blue tanker. And I am sure I saw you in Gloucester service the other day. Keep up the great work. See you around. All the best. Brad x
Hi Jemma Another great video. Uffculme, I remember from my driving days in Devon is a nightmare, can not imagine what it is like with an artic, bad enough with a horse and cart! Regards Crawford
As a car/van driver, watching these video's of yours is a pleasant education .... I'm probably not alone in NOW giving Lorry/Truck Drivers a lot more respect AND sympathy as You're always having to be mindful of that CLOCK running down - I now Give Way more often to a truck/lorry where I may have taken advantage of a 'Right-of-Way' in My Favour before .... Good work Jemma ......
Hi Jemma enjoyable vid as always, and yes this harvest has been a complete washout so far but I did read that August will be a much drier month which should allow farmers to finish up with harvesting their crops.
Great video, enjoy the tour of the south west For me, going to Wales was always an experience, leave Devon arrive in Wales a few hours later and another language
that erf with the tractors on the back was probably heading back from one of the country shows. i was down there at a motorcross camping event last weekend and i saw a couple of country shows while riding around coast. some stunning little roads around exemoor though i love it even though it rained a bit.
Hi Jemma, great little video introducing your stepdaughter, may I say absolutely amazing that she wants to do a job with human interaction, however if she wants a little bit more, she needs to look at the old Eastern bloc methods, paperwork no good go away, and then you come back offering coffee shop and retail therapy 😀😀☕️☕️💕
I Jemma how's it going hope you are well.i hope the weather picks up for you because we have had a lot of rain.most get some more summer now.brilliant vlog.hope to see you soon Phil as got is third time lucky hgv test next week take care and have fun Phil 🍀👋👍
@jemmawarren695 I Jemma hope you are well and enjoying your trucking.phil as got is third time lucky hgv test any tips for me.hope to be looking for a trucking job soon Phil 👍🚛🍀
it's funny that whilst driving a Class 1 & Class 2 I could skip Lunch and just have flavoured Sparkling Water, given the usual size of my Lunch that very much makes Bus Drivers point at it asking whether it's to last a week (it's lighter Protein and Carbs so a Meal with any Fat Content would be smaller and the same calories, without Salad too)
Reversing is serious business , you are just showing it concentration the deserves . That shower ( sadly probably a better one ) just takes the p@ss along with parking etc . Unfortunately drivers are powerless .. high time the hauliers grew a pair and collectively threatened a strike ! .
Fellow trucker from Scotland here, just to say - kudos to you Jemma for living the dream! One thing though.. can you start a go fund me for that chip on the windscreen 😅😅❤
hiya jemma i watch your vid,s. can not i passed you yesterday my mate was driving on the way back from s. hamton i was in a white truck and i waved to you , you waved back, cooolll xx keith xx
How you fit in showers and meals and still look beautiful some of the places you drive are so tight spots on the road I wish I had done my HGV early in my life
