England? - Yeah, England. You know: fish, chips, cup 'o tea, bad food, worse weather, Mary fucking Poppins. :-) (Yes, I know it was "London" instead of "England.")
It's hilarious you guys threw that in there because it wasn't in the clip. But that is the ultimate cap to a movie. A hilarious comment by a legend. Can't go wrong
Dennis had a great part in “Bottle Shock” with Alan Rickman! Hilarious movie about a stiff Brit (Rickman as a stuffy Parisian wine merchant) an American Hippie (Chris Pine) and Bill Pullman (former exec turned failing vintner@@bobbyricigliano2799
@@joejitsu034 He was literally the boss of a bankrobber (Franky Four Fingers) and lord knows who else he had employed so no he was not just a dealer. Defo had all the signs of a crimeboss
So what would happen next? Avi buys the stone at a reduced price as Turkish and Tommy don't know anything about diamonds, but the money is enough to recover their losses. Just what I think anyway lol.
1:43 Haha I love Sols reaction to the question about the dead body XD Every second of every scene is fantastic. I also dont know of a movie with a more perfect ending.
When I heard "Don't you just know it" by Huey "Piano" Smith at the end of the movie, it blew me away. It's one of my all time favorite songs. Great ending to one of my favorite movies.
The Brits are THE BEST at these undertones comedies. Keep everything casual and the drama that pops up make it funnier than it really should be. This and Death at a Funeral almost legit killed me with laughter.
"So I told him , take it to a vet . Can't stand that squeaking anymore ! The vet found half an undigested chew a squeaky toy and a 84 carat diamond lodged in its stomach , It's quick amazing what can happen in a week " . :-)
Bennis Fixy how do you work that out? Payed Bullet tooth Tony 40, 20 on each flight and still nowhere near 1 million. So if it’s worth 15 million it’s well worth it?
Guy Richie's masterpiece. He's never recreated such quality since. The closest he got was The Gentlemen, but that was more down to Farrell, Hunnam and Grant's performances.
So, is this a happy ending? Avi would be buying the diamond off from these two, right? Not like he's gonna kill them, right? I mean, Avi sucks at killing people, and with Tony gone...
Turkish knows of Doug given his dialogue. I imagine Avi would buy the diamond off them for a low price, Doug would console them (knowing Avi) to agree and sell it. As for Sol and Vinny, the police wouldn't be able to prove they killed Frankie or Tony (assuming Tony is dead or is discovered later at their pawn shop by the police if he is), and given further investigation probably wouldn't get more than 15 years each. So yeah, kind of a happy ending 🤗
If anyone can source the incidental music that plays between 0:58-2:05 please post it - I'm sure it's also the music playing when Franky is getting into the van to choose a costume and gets knocked out by Tyrone backing into him...
