Open passing (gold/slow advanced) group. Track started out very cold and kinda damp, so that made for an interesting first session. I think the conditions kinda got into my head, and I couldn't build confidence in several corners. Also, I think my tires were the worst they've ever been at the 3rd day, and with fresh pads, I was constantly getting into ABS which made things tricky.
Traffic was interesting. Lots of SMs who were usually grouped up, so I had to make some aggressive passes. By the time I cleared traffic, my tires were at the end of their optimal pressures. I couldn't get into any rhythm at all, which is unfortunate since this is the last sonoma day of the year. Oh well, there's always a next time.
Next track day will be at laguna next Sunday. It will be my first time there with dead-ish tires. I'm looking forward to it (kinda).
