With Sars-Cov-19 many people give a small evolution in his DNA, imagine a woman have a baby and this have new information, the DNA has IgG and maybe, in a future, evolve in a zerling hahahaha
It's weird - while they were less evolved back then, I think the Zerg seemed more intelligent in the first game. Several of the Overlords' responses were even coherent.
SC 1 has a special place in my heart. Superior story, characters, announcers, music - especailly the Zerg. I'd replace the sound file in SC2 for SC1 themes.
this song encapsulates the game "Indeed, you are a testament to my will and the fury of the Swarm." Overmind to the player (cerebrate) Only Starcraft 1 gave the feeling that the player is actually a very evil villain.
If I recall correctly, the fury of the Swarm was due to Xel Naga's genetic programming. They cannot help but to invade, infest and destroy. The Overmind has struggled to be free from this. So he captured Kerrigan because she has the largest psychic potential out there. To free the Swarm from the control of Xel Naga was a simple matter of letting himself be killed and let Sarah take control. If anything, the Overmind is selfless in a bizarre way.
im pretty sure lore-wise the overmind isnt actually evil, but rather just being constantly tormented by Amon and the x’elnaga. in reality the overmind is more so just an intelligent animal trying its best to evolve and survive
This haunting and deep sound is just overwhelming. Imagining hundreds of light years away there is the Zerg creeping and crawling in an ordered chaos through space and devouring all life that stands in it's way, the pulsing hivemind controlling the thoughts of millions and millions of minions.. You kinda need balls of steel to even think about it.
War in space is objectively the worst. Starcraft _almost_ doesn't do it justice by giving the player (near)total agency in conducting that war, but you've got the idea.
***** Нееее чувак, русский текст английский звук, английский текст русский звук....абаме даже ушами не успел бы махнуть, он бы уже висел, пуская слюну.
This music is fucking awesome you can really feel the power of the swarm and its evolution in this song, it wrecks the startcraft 2 music, this game was great in 99 still great now.
After a 1.19 min long building up the tension here comes the epic part. It's a masterpiece omg. I swear i feel like an alien listening to this, esspecially right after 1.19. I can almost feel like being a part of the hive.
Anyone else think the Zerg became too 'insectile' in the recent games? They used to be more 'beast-like' - kinda like the xenomorph in Alien. I don't have a problem with them evolving, because that's what zerg do....but still....i kinda miss the old Zerg
I love this "alien metal" style music. xD Hey Blizzard! Why not making a first person shooter based on squad warfare with horror, many action elements (guess what >.
It should be a game about space marines or something ^^ ... not those typical special operatives, therefore we have Metal Gear Solid, Splinter Cell, Hitman etc.
I am absolutely LOVE this song, it`s get me feeling like i`m the Horror that lurks in the darkness and waiting to devour the flesh of any victim i`ll see. Such a true Zerg Vibe.
2:57 onwards :- Scariest, spooky whistling during the night, when you dont know what's beyond the next corner. The Terror of the Unknown, imaginations running wild and uncomprehensible evils running amok........
Zagardal I very much Agree! In ALL game franchises, for an exsample, Armored Core 1 and 2 vs Armored core 3+ In Armored Core 1 and 2, you had sound tracts that, at least for me, that where awesome. But in Armored Core 3, they introduced singing into the soundtrack of the game... It's not that I'm against singers but... In a game surrounding massive robots, that just doesn't mix.
The Terran music was spot on in SC2, it felt like an evolved version of the original. Zerg was alright, but not quite as good as sc1. The Protoss music was not to quality. The Sc1 music was far better.
@@kirschitz64 terran music was good but I really miss the grungier sound. Same with the Zerg, that mix of edm and guitar licks was amazing. I think the new Protoss music kinda kept the heart in terms of composition but the arrangements were too clean, almost clinical; I liked that eerie sound it used to have. To be honest, a lot of it probably had to do with the tech they had available to them at the time? Shit sounds too good nowadays lol
Dude what I really miss even more than the music is having overmind as an announcer. The broodmother just doesn't hit the right note. Abathur is the only one close, but he can't completely make up for the overmind.
Ok man, they are remaking SC1 in 4k / HD. great news yeah ?! forget their themes .... they "remastered" the terran theme 1 .... of fck i call that destorying !
Actually, most of the LotV/Nova Covert Ops tracks are extended sections of SC1 music. The intro theme for Nova Covert Ops is an basically an extended version of about a six second section of one of the SC1 Protoss tracks.
The "alien chill riffs" are forever gone in Starcraft 2. The Zerg must infest them all so that they can bring the "alien chill riffs" back. (you know, the eerie almost whistle like trembling sound thingy?)
@@androsg100 I meant the others sound more cliche and doesn't only fit for the zergs. This sounds not only more fitting but sounds exclusive. And I disagree with that other races not even close because i also love terran's theme
Also Zergs aren't necessarily evil. They just want to live and it's not their fault their hungry all the time. So yeah this song doesn't sound evil like the rest but it sounds more like "Zerg" than evil.
2:15 I heard this music from Men in Black animated series episode called, "The Fmall, Fmall World Syndrome." If you listen carefully, then you will hear it.
I remember at that time I used the cheat code to change the theme into this whenever I'm in the campaign mode. Then pattern it with the Overmind saying: "Our forces are under attack." Good times...
