The Destiny tries to pull off a power recharging through a Blue Supergiant Star instead of recharging off normal Red Dwarfs or Yellow Dwarf Stars, to avoid another encounter with the drones.
why do you think it wouldn't be able to fully fuel itself from just one star if it wanted to? i mean i don't know why doesn't it do it evrytime. maybe it has something to do with battery life xD like it knows how much it needs, and doesn't want to fuck its batteries up with always fully charging it, and trying to contain all the excess power.
It can't, over the millions of years Destiny has been traveling, it took damage which overall lowered the capacity of it's batteries. It's like if Destiny's maximum capacity is 100, it can only charge to a to a 46 or something like that.
Why did Destiny have to go all the way through the core? Could it just get close without overloading its shield? I don't quite understand the whole concept of "solar power"?
1. It doesn't go all the way thorugh the core, it just dives under the surface through the outermost layers 2. The star's corona is much hotter and more potentially dangerous than just under the star's surface.
@@duchungle8438 It is not just drawing light energy, it is essentially taking stellar matter from the physical structure of the star itself, which means it has to be in contact with the star's surface. It simply does not have to go much below the surface, so it is still not going to the star's core.
