Man I believe what SAS is saying. Harden’s man is the GM and was getting him if not for Brooklyn stepping in at 11:59p with a trade package. Sold Harden on having his own team in Philly (even tho Embiid is there). Seems like Harden don’t want that drama and Nets have drama now! If they get off to a bad start, that Harden/Simmons trade might happen by trade deadline or this offseason.

James Harden just wants to be the top free agent this offseason when a ton of teams will be courting him. Many of the top superstars have gone through this process. Harden never has and he wants that experience but I think he will eventually sign again with the Nets.

Okay, as a Nets fan I already see the narrative taking shape for next off season one game into the new season.
