I am a cancer survivor and I need more content like this in everyday. The nutritionist I saw told me sugar feeds cancer, white bread it the worst. There is so much more to learn. This is what needs to be taught in schools. Thank you so much

And especially label reading, nobody is doing that like flav city dose. I keep watching and learning, is seems there's no end to the harmfully crap they continue to put in food and try to make you think it's healthy. Food ingredients are a big shell game.
I learned a trick when I lived in Georgia about salt in a high humidity environment. If you live in a high humidity place, just add dry parsley flakes to your salt and it will not clump up! The green flakes in pink salt also look nice.
Before when I didn’t know any better I used to eat all kind’s of junk and started developing health issues. Then I realized that in the US our food is not regulated intentionally because they want us to eat junk and get sick so we can put more money into the pharmaceutical companies pocket. But I am sure it would of been different if we had free healthcare like European countries.
I agree. If our politicians were worried about keeping a national health Care system running like in the NHS is the UK. They would pass more preventative measures such as food and pollution regulation.
I agree, although I live in the UK with access to the NHS (universal health care) but we have way less options than folks in the US. Just today I was looking for keto bread and it seems I'd have to get it delivered through a delivery service as it's not available at the supermarket/grocery store!

For those of you worried about not getting iodine from salt, here is a list of foods high in iodine. 1 Cranberries 2. Shrimp 3. Prunes 4. Cod 5. Hard boiled eggs 6. Baked potato with skin 7. Plain yogurt 8. Turkey breast 9. Canned Tuna 10. Sardines They also mention milk
Just wondering why you specified “hard boiled eggs”. Is there something about hard boiling eggs that brings out more iodine than eggs cooked another way?
Not really sure about the hard boiled eggs. That’s what I found doing my research. I happen to like them, I also get the Organic Valley free range organic eggs. I tried the Vital Farms organic pasture raised eggs, but way to expensive at 9 dollars.

@@marktepper3440 I think you’re missing the point on salts. Refined salts have the benefits removes through the refinement process. Unrefined do not. HOWEVER, moderation when it comes to sodium intake is key, just because something is better for you or more beneficial doesn’t mean that the better choice isn’t dangerous in excess. Naturally occurring sugars from fruits and such that just appear in nature will make you fat and give you diabetes if it is not moderated and consumed to excess. Hope this helps.

Pink Himalayan salt is best. Sea salt has micro plastic particles in it due to all the plastic that has made its way into the sea water. Thus it is best to go with the pink.
I’ve been using Himilayan salt for many years, along with maldon and lately Redmond Real Salt, which is amazing. I’ve been using avocado Oil for many years along with good ebook. So I’ve made the swaps years ago. Glad to know there is a better Dave’s bread than the one that they sell at Costco. I work at Shoprite here in NJ and we sell the one in red. I’ll look for it. I also rarely buy bread in the bread aisle. I work in the bakery dept and we sell some amazing sourdough loaves and whole grain loaves. I’ve started to buy them for my family. They prefer “real” bread,not the fake ones from the bread aisle.
B man, I really enjoy learning for some time now. I know there's not many places one can go to try to save money especially when one is on a fix income. I myself is one of these people. Thanks for your video on picking the right foods especially for me after few years back going through 6 bypasses knowing that if I didn't go to a Dr. per friend's I would be dead with a massive heart attack. These are great educational videos, but its hard swapping when our area doesn't carry these brands you show. We have no Costco... only Walmart and Reisbacks and they carry big name company brands (Nicole's, Wonder, Schwebels).. but I did luck out finding a good olive oil! So yea, grow your own or don't buy! Your body naturally has unique microbiome, even in your "tummy with acid". The best way to improve your microbiome is to eat probiotic food like yogurt, but to also eat healthy in general. This will encourage the good bacteria to grow and thrive. If you eat junk, it will encourage the bad bacteria to grow and thrive. Eat healthier foods and your body and microbiome will adjust to eating healthier. You do not need to buy $50 probiotic pills.
Wish you could come to Canada for a month. We don't have all the same products you have in the US so it gets a little tricky. I do use your basic warnings and the app helps. I am having a hard time breaking my carb addiction but I'm moving forward.
Can you either make a video (or suggest a channel) that explains the science behind several of these bad vs good chemicals. I'd love a mote indepth understanding beyond an ingredient being "inflammatory"

Yep my father was a heart patient. He had a triple bypass and they told him to eat with nothing but sunflower oil. It was so far all he cooked everything with. However, he didn’t make it till he was 91 years old, but he died from heart failure I think if he’s not been eating safflower oil and egg beaters, and everything else that they told him was good for him that Evan it was not he still be here

Micro plastics are a huge concern along with PFAS. The EPA has basically said no amount now is “safe”. Who knows if they will reverse course for one reason or another. First, thank you! You’re a wealth of information. You may know that Late July was bought by the Campbell Soup Company. Read the labels very carefully. Big Business is getting crafty when listing if there are GMOs, genetically engineered crops used in food. Some have a scan label which takes you to what’s really going on. And yes, the first item I chose to check was loaded with GMOs.

Bobby have you ever done an olive oil tasting to know how to tell quality extra virgin olive oil from from lower quality? Italy is probably one of the worst countries to get it from because it’s all the big businesses that own the farms there. Spain and Croatia are among the best.
Please come to our market in Massachusetts. It is a market family owned and only in MA .you will be so impressed ..it’s called Market Basket ..several stores ..the parking is filled 100% capacity people come over state line to shop here..the price and organic products off the charts ..they have 20 registers in full motion ..all day ..please please please we would love to see you here …thanks for your work . We have Whole Foods here and Costco but this store beats them.
The only thing I would say is if you’re cutting out regular salt, make sure you’re getting enough iodine from somewhere else. Iodine deficiency is linked to goiter and lower IQ in offspring, as was a big problem in the northern US a hundred years or so ago. I don’t like seafood or most other foods with iodine, so I’ll still occasionally use table salt when cooking.
Those other salts do not have Iodine in it. That mineral is needed in our diets so unless you eat seaweed, you likely need a little of that Iodized salt.
Mr Bobby, what would be a video you'd recommend on putting together healthy salads quickly and also including healthy salad dressings? The salad dressings seem to be the killer to keeping salads healthy so hard to find a healthy option that actually taste good.

I love the flavor that organic coconut oil gives to cooked food. 😀Plus, I know it's healthy. But I'm going to put an end to buying the butter/canola oil spreadable blend, which is touted as being healthier than either butter or margarine. 😕 😀
I will never look at my veggie sticks the same way. I knew they were not made from vegetables but did not consider the oil they are made in. Will be leaving those on the Costco shelf.
But whole grains contain terrible lectins. So I steer clear of that. But I’m loving your videos and continue to watch. Thanks for another great one 😊❤️👍

Hello...I'm not a doctor nor can I direct you to the research you are asking for, but I can say that for years I've used a LOT of salt daily and I only use either Himalayan or Celtic sea salt on my food and my blood pressure is on the lower side. It's been that way for years. I can't say for certain that these types of salts are the reason that my blood pressure isn't high but I am more comfortable using them since they are natural types of salt that aren't overly processed like regular table salt is. I'm 71 years old and I've been using those types of salt for probably 20 years now. Of course, I am not on any kind of medications that raise my blood pressure so that helps.
You are 100% right on all this. Why can't we bring a law suit against every single company? I'm not out fir $, but just the right thing needs to be done. Just like voting! Never will. Every person is corrupt, just like these companies
