Studio One MASTER 

I've noticed some companies that have products that compete with Presonus not to do setup instructions for Studio One. Glad to see SSL putting faith in their products and not doing this.

If you ever wanted to take out the faderport 1 and X touch 1, you should do a 1 fader version, paired with the SSL 2 interface bedroom producers/artist would loose their mind!! 😁💯

Why did they not simply add a dedicated transport control section? This is a control surface, correct? Transport control should always be at your fingertips when working on a control surface, and should never require other modes or user modes to access something as basic as transport control. Other than that issue, it’s a nice controller.

Man if only I could use one of these beauties… #no money

Great product. At least you offer knobs per channel unlike presonus (what they were thinking?). Can we adjust more than 8 parameters on plugins? That's the important part for me. Any plan on releasing a plugin controler oriented product with more knobs and those small screens?

How do u get it to show the main (master) channel? I can switch to it using the Uc1, I can scroll to it in 360 software as well..BUT…. The UF8 does not show it. Yes it has vst3 channel strip plug in on it too

Has anyone got this working in Monterey M1? Seems like the faders don't change when you scroll through the tracks :(

Can you use the faders to control midi CC data like modulation, expression, vibrato...etc? This would be helpful for media composers to use this with sample libraries from Spitfire Audio and Orchestral Tools. Please let us know

Great controller no doubt, but this controller only displays the original channel list, if i want to hide some channels, this controller still sees them, not a true replica of the console view. or is there a way to set this up? And it does not control my main bus or listen Bus.

When you map a plugin with the encoder does it save or do you have to do that every time you use the plugin????

Can you press down on the V-pots encoders for additional user command assignments?

looks good, but i can't see myself giving up my Faderport 16. What are the prices on the UF 8?

at 8:44 he uses the encoder to scroll through the mixer channels. is there no way to have the S1 mixer update the selected track automatically. eg: the first fader on the hardware is always the selected track, so you can just scroll to the track you want and as you go the first fader is always the main selected one? Also can I have it so that if I click a track in studio one then it will automatically replicate that on the hardware?

Icon Pro G2 is 600 dollars cheaper. What advantage does this have over Icon?

12:32 Page doesn't work in Studio one. You can not use that button if not the channel button and bank freeze.... It's a fake video! And if there are several plugins in one track, buttons you use in first plugin are blocked in the second. For exemple you can not use button 1 in second plugin if used in first, so if you have 5 plugins with a total of 40 buttons, you can move only 8 button max in total.... Even in the official site web, the bug is reported... we are waiting for 8 months for and update and nothing
