@@prxnceanime6335 It won't be as effective as Logan and Colin blackmailing him. They only know Kendall's perspective and even from that they could tell it wasn't his fault at all. Colin is a witness that can point directly at Kendall. I think whoever gets Colin on their side will win. One of the addendums listed on Logan's document was NRPI. NRPI was what Logan told Ken on the matter of the waiter. It could be Logan's contingency to keep Kendall in check.

Honestly Logan's initial plan for her, shadowing Gerry and Frank and then takeover 2 years later would've really helped give her experience and credibility, I understand why she refused, because Logan was not one to keep promises but that was honestly a sound plan

@@miseendriste6337 It basically just means that Logan held Shiv's hand during the entire process. So Shiv can say she did the "strategic review," but it was really their Dad making the situation work.

But, in the end, the old guards are still better than them. They have more experiences and they know how to handle Logan. The sibs are failed version of the Old Guards. Shiv actually has a better job as Political Consultant and remember she almost made Gil as the next President candidate. Logan was actually testing her the entire time but she is clueless and thinks she can get the job with no experience. Even she refused to do basic trainings because it took a lot of time. Zooming out a few thousand feet ... the idea that Roman could run operations for a massive company is beyond ridiculous. We take it in stride as part of the show, but he has done nothing to suggest he can run anything, even a little.

@@SAK1855 But Roman got his point. He is the one that gets the deal starts, and the COO of the company. Perhaps Waystar chooses COO randomly, but he is still the executive-level manager. Kendall on the other hand, only gets his name on a piece of paper.

I mean COO is an actual job, and it requires being detail-oriented, highly organized, a relentless learner who reflects unsparingly on failures, a confident communicator who inspires trust in his competence throughout the organization, and, at a massive company, an incredibly hard worker who barely leaves the office. Roman is none of those things.

He encouraged her to come home so he could use her to see if she could aid his decision between Kendall and Roman without truthfully telling her the purpose. The unexpected person was Tom who figured out the sordid family dynamic, as an outsider who looked down at them from the helicopter.

These people are not sane, though. Any sane person would've taken their money and walked far away from this psychotic "family" years ago.

That’s what Frank asks Ken as well. Why would you want back in when you are making good moves on your own? The answer is this is about more than just “winning” the company and it’s not coming from a logical place. That is why they all keep needing to be convinced that their dad loved them. If they win the company they prove that they were good enough for him.

The shares are held in family trust which must be voted on.
