In his universe, he is a racer/bounty hunter. He competes in the F-Zero Grand Prix to keep the bad guys from winning the prize money and funding their criminal activities and off the track he hunts down the scum of the universe (also for money) but he does it in the name of peace and justice, so...yes.
@@alfonsothesupremecreatordo425 he does, simply put, the Captain does not have time to steer, he must steel his defenses to punch a giant ROB into oblivion
Luigi Player 14 nah, it's even better because almost half or more of the games sales was because of people wanting to play sonic, so technically that made his entrance, it was also CGI animated, and the falcon one was not, so uh, yeah, sorry.
Luigi Player 14 also the voice clip were terrible "FALC-..... PUAINCH!" As in Sonic breaking through the wings of the strongest boss their facing and then continuing to wag his finger like a cocky asshole.
Yeah it was, and it’s a shame that brawl was the only smash game that had a story mode like this. Like just imagine a cutscene like this at 6:40 with ultimate’s roster, holy shit that would’ve been so amazing. Even though the story in subspace made little sense and practically had zero lore to it, it was just so cool to see all these characters come together like this. I still think that Sakurai’s reasoning for excluding a sub space styled mode for smash 4 and ultimate is still pretty flawed. Now look, Sakurai is an amazingly creative guy, and the dude deserves a huge break after ultimate, and I understand a story mode like this with ultimate’s roster would be an extreme amount of work. But at the same time, his reasoning for excluding a new story mode is still very wrong imo. In case you guys didn’t know, the reason why smash 4 and ultimate don’t have a story mode is because Sakurai didn’t like how brawl’s cutscenes were uploaded online. Yeah…….that’s a pretty bad reason imo, but I’ll give him credit for being honest with us at least (something you sadly don’t see much anymore in this industry, true honesty). And I do understand where he’s coming from too. He wanted the cutscenes to be a surprise and not be spoiled, and they worked very hard on them too. But when it comes to stuff getting leaked/put online…………THATS LITERALLY WITH EVERYTHING!!!! Whether it be video games, movies, tv shows, anime, hell even comics etc, everything gets uploaded and posted online nowadays. I feel like Sakurai’s mentality is just like Nintendo’s, where it’s stuck in the past. It isn’t like 2001 anymore where nothing was posted online like how things are today in 2021. Things like movie scripts are sometimes literally leaked online like a month in advanced before it’s release. But the true reason why I think that Sakurai’s mentality is flawed here, is because, if people really didn’t want to be spoiled with a smash story mode, then they would just stay off the internet! That literally applies to everything else too, like if there’s a TV show series finale that someone doesn’t want to be spoiled by, then chances are that they would just stay off of the internet to avoid spoilers. For example, I’m a huuuuge dead space fan right? And I’m pretty eager to see this upcoming dead space remake for myself, so I don’t really want to be spoiled (no videos or screen shots). So what will I do? Well just stay away from the internet when it’s close to release, and I won’t click on any videos or articles etc, stuff like that. That’s all people who don’t want to be spoiled have to do lmao. Plus uploading the cutscenes online could also be potential free advertising for the game too. Like someone could watch a few of the cutscenes and be like “Wow holy shit these smash bros cutscenes look sick!!! I gotta go buy a switch and a copy of ultimate to try this story mode out!!!!” Hell, that’s the main reason why I bought Wolfenstein 2. I watched some of the cutscenes online and it got my interest in getting the game, and I ended up enjoying it for the most part. But like I said above, Sakurai’s mentality when it comes to this, just seems to be stuck in the past. He doesn’t see it like how I do I guess.
Sam Wilson is obligated in my opinion to say either "Falcon Paaaawnch" or "Show me your moves" at some point in the MCU now that he's effectively Captain Falcon
It's a shame there wasn't another similar story in SB4. I love to see all the characters interacting with eachother beyond fighting. It creates some pretty fun and cool moments that are pretty memorable. They only decided not to have a story mode in Smash 4 because Massahiro Sakurai didn't want people to post the cutscenes on big media places like youtube and spoil it for other people. (Which is a very illogical reason considering if people didn't want to spoil themselves they wouldn't watch it. It seems kind of immature imo that a developer would feel the need to make these choices for the player.)
***** I think that they didn't do it, because of how much money and work went into these cut scenes, when they end up just being watched online. Though, that sorta thing happens with almost any game I guess. Well, at least they made some really badass trailers for some of the new smash characters before SB4 came out.
***** I know what you mean, and to be honest, I haven't kept up with how exactly they feel about that. But I think that it's safe to say that they've changed (at least mostly) their view point on competitive smash, considering that event last year, and the Nintendo world championships recently. I would say that Sakurai is far from the most immature though.
What? That isn't why. He didn't do it because they spent so much time on the sub space emissary that the game itself lacked because they didn't spend as much time on the game itself.
It IS a new clip because Falcon changed voice actors between 64 and Melee, but it IS the same kind of infliction when he says it. Maybe it's a continuity nod to his first appearance.
It's been said that the 3ds version replaced any kind if story mode. Brawl had 2 teams. One for story and one for core gameplay. Then the next game had one team for the Wii u version and one for the 3ds.
I had no idea who Olimar was before this, so I thought the ROB was normal sized and they were just minuscule. So seeing Cap scaling to them tripped me the hell out
*Unintelligible monkey sounds* *Loud unnecessary yells and grunts when using his sword* Also pikachu saying it's own name, which is also it's method of speech._. Ness and lucas both said PK thunder in cutscenes And yes i am a focking nerd who just made this stupid comment on the internet for no reason ._.
My first smash bros game still doesn’t disappoint in the content department. The subspace emissary was a truly amazing time. And this first scene of the Falcon punch was what cemented me as an F-Zero fan. Nintendo please give us a new F-Zero game. Maybe sometimes you’re racing, and other times you’re in a beat ‘em up section so we can use Falcon punch in an actual F-Zero game
I feel like the first scene might've been the most intense I mean like seeing captain falcon just putting his theme song and jumping out and saying FALCON PUUUNCH!
I really liked the game and the story. It's just the environments were so bland looking. Especially given the fact that this is supposed to be a world inhabited by ALL of the Smash fighters. You'd think they'd get more creative than "Rocky canyon" and "Rocky Grassland."
@@poweroffriendship2.0 yeah true. But that's a bit of a lopsided comparison since it's comparing a few lavishly decorated paintings to fully fleshed out platforming levels.
@@Ninetails2000 And guess what? The stage-maker update looks great. You can create your own stage by using some materials, it's like Mario Maker but in Smash. Sadly, I don't have a Switch, and it's pretty complicated that I can't play them.
0:23 This scene was always my favorite. The blend of the music and the intensity in Captain Falcon’s voice when he jumps out and smashed into the giant ROB. Speaking of, *where the fuck did it go? There was no impact of it hitting the ground, it didn’t fly away or explode*
Fun fact: captain falcon is voiced by Ryu Harikawa. The same person who voices vegeta in the japanease dub of Dragonball. Vegeta just falcon punched a giant ass Rob.
Nah there's been blood before in Nintendo. You know red sparks that fly off Link in OoT when he takes damage? That was meant to be blood. And there's a bit where Ganondorf threw up, but it was originally throwing up blood. I believe there were also some minor bloodstains in Twilight Princess.
Primal Goldfish there was also a part in paper mario ttyd where (in the Japanese version) a chalk outline of a toad and blood can be seen on the ground
there was also two final bosses (zero and zero 2) in kirby games where they both bleed heavily when you attack it. zero, in particular, used his own blood to attack and rips his eye off his own body, creating a lot of blood.
I think brawl is still my favirot smash game and I prefer it over melee and 4 for a few reasosn. 4. I like the old school style of classic mode of having a clear path, but I do prefer smash 4's difficulty scale. 3. Unlocking everything was fun, trying all the challenges to unlock a character, a stage, or a game mode. 2. The subspace emissary 1. I can mod it and tweak it to my preference
