They demo how to use and install PRIME-N-BOND™ floor primer over tile as the primer for NXT® LEVEL underlayment. Included in the demo is the painting of PRIME-N-BOND, proper mixing of NXT LEVEL and pouring of the self-leveling underlayment using the components of the self-leveling tool kit.

Can you screw down backer board overtop NXT patch once it's hardened and cured?

We would not recommend screwing into the self leveling underlayment as this may cause the SLU to crack. We would also advise that you contact the board manufacturer for cement board installation over SLU's.

So NXT patch can be used on vertices applications onto Hydroban Board, for low spots, dips...where the wall didn't get furred out? Good binding adhesion for large format tile and thi set over it? Didn't know of it sagged a lot while installing.

NXT Patch should be fine going up a wall. However, since we don't know what application you are using this on, it's important to note that it can't be submerged. So, in most cases we'd suggest 3701 Lite Mortar (laticrete.com/en/tile-and-stone-installation/thick-bed-mortars-and-screeds/3701-lite-mortar)when patching a vertical wall. Please also note: to let it dry completely before starting the tile installation.

Thanks for the video! I've got a 10'x20' room with smooth, bare concrete that isn't quite 100% flat. Would NXT Patch or NXT Level be ideal to screed out over it?

Either one would be fine. If you are more comfortable using a trowel and patching a floor by hand, the NXT Patch would be ideal for that. Or if you are confident that the prep is OK and you can pour/self level a floor, then NXT Level would be great as well. @@laticrete Thanks for the quick reply! I checked the subfloor with a laser and a yard stick. Apparently no real high spots but up to 3/8" slight valleys (verified with 8' straightedge). NXT Patch doesn't say it can be used down to a feather. What about NXT Skim? Can I use that with a large rounded trowel and/or screed? How does NXT Skim compare to NXT Patch and do either need a primer? Trying to figure out the best approach...
