Thanks for the video. Mine broke and since they were installed at the dealers, I was wondering why they only gave me back 3 bolts, now I see how engine was stock so I can remove them.
Does it seem like the bars offer adequate protection if the bike was laid down? It seems as if it would not but of course that makes no sense since they would then be pointless.
Looks like the guards are not far out enough to protect the cylinder heads. Thanks, but I'll get the Wunderlich guards, not as pretty but provide more engine protection.
Did you notice the difference in size between the two lower front bolts? The left one is a 70mm and the right one is a 80mm... Need to make you instal the correct one. I have read some people seriously damaged their engine block!
I installed everything loose before it was tightened down. I also read that on the forms but I didn’t have any issues. No leaks or bits of Al when I have changed the oil and I have had these bars for over three years
I didn’t but I am not that aggressive of a rider. On low speed turns I find that my feet will hit the ground first but I have lowered foot pegs as well
