While we understand that there is a small group of you out there, but on the whole freshwater enthusiasts are a bit scared off by tech at this price level - ours or others.

Appreciate the response. My guess is that this small group will grow. Apparently you've done some research on this, but my recommend is to continue to pay attention to the market. Just putting a word into your ear that marine aquarists aren't the only ones using these and profiles, schemes, hardware, etc,. etc,. that, for us freshies would be nice to see. Can't really see how you'd have much to lose. I've been in the hobby for just shy of 40 years and have done much on the marine side. Was using your controllers back in the '90's when we were using X10 modules. lol Have come full circle am back into freshwater in a big way, and there is much to be controlled for those who want a high tech setup. On my personal show aquarium, my Apex currently runs three Kessil 360 Tuna Suns, two filstar canister filters, pressurized CO2, 40W Pentair UV, a DOS system for Flourish Excel and Flourish trace elements, another DOS system for auto water changes, pmup, wavemaker with two nano Korallin powerheads, two 500w titanium heaters, a fan cooling system, and a few other lights and various devices. I run two EB832s. Not that you care so much about all of this equipment, but just stating that some of us have systems that rival your reef tanks. My maintenance company (in business since 1997), in fact, has gotten away from marine aquariums almost entirely (for a variety of reasons), and primarily take care of several biotypes of freshwater aquaria. Sounds great. Not to be a pain, but while I have your attention. I want to rig up a video camera for this tank and connect it to the Apex. Is there a camera that you recommend and where can I find info how to connect. Thanks.

You can do some more advanced things with Profiles to make that happen.

Yes one of the guys on the forum hooked me up. I now have a switch called Radion_photo. its so cool. Turn it on and it pauses the normal programming, and applys the photo lights preset. Turn it off and normal programming in back. Loving the Apex
