My headcanon is that they have hydraulics to lower their height to more human levels, and they also have something that silences the machine-like noises
You realize they came out around the same time right? If anything he may have guested here because of his popularity in BB. And though not as popular, I'd say he played a pretty big role in one of the best episodes of SCC Season 1.
Yes, absolutely. The show was cancelled 15 years ago and I’m still mad they cancelled on such a cliffhanger. This show and the Dark Crystal Age of Resistance are the top two shows on my list that I believe ended too soon.
Kind of wish they had a little more funding to make a lifesize model of the T-888, or to at least improve the CGI. It doesn't feel as "dangerous" at the T-800 or T-850 designs.
Improve the cgi? Do you also complain about that in Terminator 1, cause it had some of most garish stop motion animation I've ever seen, but it still didn't stop me from enjoying it.
TBH the t-888 is the most human like terminator. It movements are human like. It's even smart enough to make its own human skin again. By meeting the person who made the human like skin for the terminators. Honestly I wish they had more human like movement in the movies. The closest we go to is the like the rev-9 or t-1000. But it doesn't compare to hoe smart it is.
TTSCC really needed more than two seasons was so good was hoping it would lead up to the war and Skynets defeat or at least show how John became leader
It's too late it's been 14 years, they'd have to reboot it. Terminator Resistance has pretty much scratched the itch for me, delivering the future war atmosphere we all dreamed about back in the day.
@user-eh1vp3ev3c I loved that game don't know why it gets so much hate. I prefer that ending to the story I'm counting that as canon for me other's whatever they want to make of it. I didn't like the last movie anyway didn't make sense to just kill off John like that.
I never saw this scene.. and it's pretty cool how The Terminator walked in the bathroom near the same Height as the man then when the Terminator took off his clothes he appeared 40% Bigger... thats a Really cool Feature they should add in the next Terminator films 2024.... And this proves that More Terminator films can be made, just hope Arnold can play as the Skeleton.... But yeah that's pretty Awesome and i hope to see Terminator horror movies that actually Show The Terminators Skeleton like this up close to a Human trying to Help him
Man i wished they would've just used one T-888 in the present, because Cromartie was just too damn good. They would've explored more than using terminators, like have I-950s being sent to the present to hunt down John, and have some horror elements by having Cyberdyne Systems & Cyber Research Systems & others using human & animal experiments for having robotic & cybernetic enhancements in a sort of Frankenstein way, while Cromartie just fends them off. Heck, this show would've been great as a horror.
This whole series was amazing, while a bit slow paced at times. To this day, I don’t know if the Terminator TSCC is canon, but I’m guessing not because Derek Reese is never mentioned anywhere else and neither are the T-888s, like Cromartie. All the Terminators (T-800 and above) are pretty intelligent. I think Cromartie is arguably the smartest Terminator we’ve ever seen on screen, canon or not. Despite not being advanced enough to shape shift, he finds a way to regrow his skin and gets a whole new appearance all together. The Endo-skeletons are noticeably CGI, but this scene in particular is very well done, music and all. Their skinless appearance is quite intimidating. 0:14 , 0:20 and 0:24 I can’t believe they ended this show on such a cliffhanger. It was starting to get pretty interesting.
Cannon isn't something that really matters in the entire terminator franchise. This show even briefly explains it best. Whenever someone is sent back, that creates an alternate future. The only true cannon is "humans create ai that wipes out humans and it's inevitable".
you're joking right. its some of the worst special effects in the last 20 years. terminator is like twice the size of the dude who walked in when it takes off the clothes. and its blatantly cgi.
I just finished this series, and I've gotta say, "This was back when Fox kicked ass." This show was like one long mostly R-rated action movie. Fox today would never have the balls to make a show anywhere near as cool as this one was.
Exactly and if you noticed how bulky the machine is like how are you going to tell me that that is literally underneath the guy's skin when the dude that played him was just a scrawny dude play come on are we really just going to cut off our brains like this some of the guys that they had played the t-800 it's like could you at least get some muscle of guys in here that actually look like to T800s
